Genesis 1:27: "So God created mankind in his own image…" Wow… God, a perfect being, created us to be like him.
Psalms 139:14: "…I am fearfully and wonderfully made…" No matter how you look, always know He loves you, no matter your looks, what you've done, or whatever else.
Ephesians 2:10: "For we are God's handiwork (masterpiece, in other translations!), created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Let that sink in. God created Mount Everest, all of the magnificent animals, and every single star and planet in the universe, and yet, we, are his masterpiece. Maybe you don't believe that. But let it encourage you in these troubling times. Let God's love cover you, and let His peace be with you.
