Idk man there's Mega Man X7 where Mega Man isn't even the main star of it. Not saying something like that will happen with Mario (Mega Man X7 is also notoriously awful) but that's not really the point of my post.
Mcmadness said this before but like, if Bowser wasn't the main antagonist, I kinda...
I'm not trying to demean anyone or insinuating they have ridiculous opinions. Sometimes, change for the sake of change is bad, and people like villains like Fawful or the Super Paper Mario villains is precisely because of what they bring to the table to change things up but other times, you get...
I'm being facetious the entire time.
My overarching point is that it's ridiculous to complain about Bowser being the main antagonist of a Mario game when he's the main antagonist of the series, when execution of the villain and his roles is what's far more important than a new guy. When you...
Yeah but you know, they should change it up every once in a while to spice things up. It's boring having to use Mario in every Mario & Luigi game, we have the mainline games to play as Mario, enough is enough, people can use Mario in the quadrillion other Mario games out there already.
I also want Mario not as the main protagonist of Mario & Luigi games every once in a while. Tired of seeing his fucking face, I want a completely new and original guy for a protagonist for the next Mario & Luigi game.
Some of Yoshi's New Island levels are very sparsely written. I've worked on them until World 4, but until then, articles like Spin-Lift Drift have very barren layouts, comprising of only three sentences and tons of missing information.
Rise of the Nasty Nep-Enuts should be the standard for...
I hate these constant payment models because it piles up on top of the other constant monthly payments you have to partake in (like financing a car, house, insurance, bills), so it's just more shit to keep track of. "Oh," you might say, "40 bucks a month isn't all that bad" but it all fucking...
Yeah. Sounds about as bad as playing SNES Bowser's Castle 3 with 16 racers in SRB2 Kart. I recall not liking this level very much either in Super Circuit.
Wii Rainbow Road isn't actually all that bad, tbh, I can manage the turns there. Nothing there is as brutal as doing the 8 curve turn at the start and end of 8's Rainbow Road on 200cc with an inside drift bike.
Imo both N64 Rainbow Roads are bad tracks. N64 was too long (it takes five minutes iirc to complete it which is insanely long by Mario Kart standards) and boring while 8 is way too short. 8 also got rid of the neon lights and just replaced that art with stock art, also getting rid of Wario, Boo...
So in my opinion:
Level design is a mess, the game will throw multiple kinds of shit at you but none of them will stick out because it tries to do everything at once and introduce too many ideas. For example, the game's first Gusty level has only the first section actually be about Gusties...
People call me the best CCA in the office but they have absolutely no clue how neurotic and OCDish (absolutely obsessed with Package Lookahead and I utterly freak out if I'm missing a package) and how much of a nervous wreck I really am. Probably why I'm so accurate with my scans.
Spent my Sunday drawing a front view of the Commander of the Protectors and I can say that I'm pleased with how she turned out.
Not like I didn't have any style in mind or anything while drawing so...
Don't like the GameCube controller simply because it's not versatile, Switch Pro is a better one because you can use it for Switch and for PC, plus it's very comfy.
Last week was dog bite awareness week and here are some things I'll share with you to prevent dogs from attacking your mail carrier.
Do not ground pound the stake your dog is attached to. Your mail being delivered is more important than the Power Star behind the gate.
Do not make your mail...
Sometimes, I'm not sure if T should even be grouped with LGB (lesbian and gays are also essentially the same thing just one of them is a female label), because gender identity is a whole 'nother can of worms than sexuality. Keep in mind, I'm not trans-exclusionary at all, definitely not saying...
The biggest upgrade in the TTYD remake is obviously Mario's mailbox, they changed it from having a tiny shitty slot to the entire thing being openable, so Parakarry can fit Mario's 5th order of plumbing screws of the week inside there.
I mean going by the Odyssey height, Toads and the baby bros would literally be only one foot tall, which is kinda why I don't like using odyssey measurements as the "canon" height and I vastly prefer the Mario Statue Balloon World measurements.
I'm not talking about outliers. You know them when you encounter them. Most people don't irredeemably fuck up to the point where you can't forgive them. In general, you should apologize if you made a mistake because it's an effective mediation tool.
That's awful advice. Forgiving resolves tensions between the both of you and it makes it much more comfortable to talk to them. Once you forgive, you don't have to bring them back into your relationship again, you don't have to talk with them or even hang out with them, but it does make it far...
My genre of articles I had been focused on were Games With Baby Luigi Playable (or at least in it) and Mario Party games. So like, Yoshi's New Island, Yoshi Touch & Go, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, all 3DS Mario Party entries, and the GameCube Mario Party titles.
I'm literally the only...
