Hey, two things. One, there's an official Facebook page for Super Smash Bros. now (official as in officially backed by Nintendo):

Two... this...
Saw two movies this weekend, one last night, and one this afternoon!
Last night I saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier with my dad. It was a blast, really suspenseful, lots of good action, real game-changer when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and sets up a lot of awesome stuff...
That's true... but that's also why Brawl's selection of trophy fails, since they're all from more modern games, so there aren't many unexpected selections.
You're right, my mistake. :P
Also, I just thought of something else they can announce with this Nintendo Direct: an actual title!
I always thought it was weird that Nintendo and Sakurai went with the names they did... I mean, it'd be one think if it was "Super Smash Bros. 3D" or "Super Smash...
Crap, I totally forgot Isaac! And he's on my top 10 list, I'm so ashamed! And the first Golden Sun gets released on the Wii U Virtual Console this April, so he's in the same boat as Andy! ...Well, at least I'm mentioning him now.
I didn't say only one (or rather, I didn't mean to), I said I expected at LEAST one newcomer. By all means I want to see more newcomers, but I'm trying to keep my expectations low so as to either be happily surprised when it happens or not disappointed when it doesn't happen.
So yeah, I made a topic about the upcoming Nintendo Direct if you want to see that...

That aside... Isabelle's cute. :3
On Tuesday April 8, 2014, there will be a Super Smash Bros.-themed Nintendo Direct, streaming live starting at 3:00 PM (6:00 PM EST and 11:00 PM in the UK).

So I'm procrastinating on playing my Wii U games... But I beat Mole Mania, and I plan on doing an in-depth analysis on the game, partly because I find it simplistically fun in a way I could go on and on to describe, and also because it's such an obscure game that deserves more attention.
In...

Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I heard about it, even moreso when I heard what companies were having games released on it. EA, Ubisoft, Double Fine, Sega, Disney, TellTale, the list goes on...
So, I wanted to share this: a Ridley support page on Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ridley-for-Super-Smash-Bros-4/734096326629920
The page is looking for any and all people who can articulate how and why Ridley cand/should be playable in Super Smash Bros., for the people who...
Technically, Ike isn't a Lord... or rather, he wasn't one at the beginning of the game, until he "became" a Lord mid-way througha s part of his promotion/class change. What's great is that he didn't even want the title, but had to have it for "political" reasons. He asked if he had to wear...
That had me thinking about when Luigi and Diddy Kong were revealed, and really, even though they were revealed on the Western releases for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze respectively, those games were already out in Japan. This is probably why Yoshi wasn't...
Eh... I don't really like this. I preferred it back when it could KO opponents if their damage meter was high enough, now it's just going to send them back to the ground. What sucks is that I distinctly remember in the original trailer for these games, Pikachu's Thunder worked just like...
I'm going to predict, for the heck of it, that Meta Knight will be revealed April 15, which is the Japanese release date of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.
Also, I'm going to predict that there will be a Nintendo Direct around the release of NES Remix 2, and that a new character will be revealed...
Not really, though then again, that's probably because the two have been paired and COMpared often, and thus I can easily tell the difference between the two in terms of personality.
God dammit I hate my procrastinating nature. I had a big list of things I want to get done, watching this episode and commenting on it being one of them, but now it's so late... But I don't want to put this off any longer, not only because I want to comment on the episode before it gets too...
Thanks, man. Really, I don't mind if you don't read my posts, they ARE a handful... I just don't want people to be a jerk about it.
It's true, it all comes down to personal preference, which is probably why I'm a bit conflicted about which one I prefer. Kind of which I could be like how I...
Yeah, sorry, I have a hard time organizing my thoughts and I apologize for the inconvenience, but there's just something VERY annoying about pointing you you didn't bother to read what I said, especially if it doesn't contribute to the discussion at all.
Strange thing about this screenshot is that when I checked the site, it was still yesterday's screenshot... but when I went to Miiverse, it was the new one. Weird.
but yeah, the spring does lead me to believe this is a Stage Builder stage, though some say it's part of the Palutena Temple...
Admittedly, it DOES look an awful lot like how Chrom would look in these games, but yeah, nohting's official until Sakurai says so... Where did you even find this picture?
Well FINALLY, they changed up Luigi's moveset to include the Poltergust! Actually, if you look closely, it's the Poltergust 5000 from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, as opposed to the Poltergust 3000 from the original Luigi's Mansion. This makes WAY more sense then that trippy-ass Negative Zone...
I don't like that attitude, because it really is hard to tell if someone is being sarcastic through just text. Some people just a have a consistently facetious attitude, not to mention, even if you're paying attention to someone, they can still be messing with you, and you'll be completely...
Nice tier rankings, NV!
BTW, I'm just going to go ahead and post the characters I removed from my original list here, just so you could see my thought process with them.
Jigglypuff(D): Another unlockable character in the first three games, and part of the "Original 12", AND my first...
I mentioned that, as a third party character, he might not be guaranteed a spot in the future, plus who knows how Nintendo and Sega's relationship will go in the future, but yeah, considering how popular he is and how big a demand for him there was, he definitely feels like a character we'll see...
Gosh darn it, I had him on the list, but I removed him because of the character limit. He was the very last one I removed, too, since I felt more strongly about him compared to the other debatable ones I had.
So there are three Smash Bros. games now, with two more in the works, with a highly likely chance of there being more Smash Bros. games in the further with whatever next console Nintendo makes. Because there are now that many games in the series, I feel like it's safe to say that there are...
I like how you're shown evidence that Ridley can be scaled down and adjusted to meet the standards of size in SSB, similar to how Olimar, who's usually the size of a quarter, is scaled up to be playable, but you still go "Nope! Still too big because reasons". ::)
I feel like, just like how Morgan Freeman can say anything and make it sound profound and engaging, Larry the Cable Guy can say anything and make it sound stupidly funny... and stupid.
Thank you!
Although I've seen some people insist that it just won't work, because he'd look awkward or something. Well, that's one way of putting it, but that's only when pressed further when being disproven when it comes to the above argument.
...Ohhh, I see what you did thar. :smug:
Seriously, though, when it comes to this daily screenshot business, unless it's a character confirmation, or an Assist Trophy or something like that, I rarely have that much to say. Today's update, for example, I honestly don't have much to say other...
So I saw For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils earlier today... Incidentally, many say it's a reference to the Ernest Hemmingway novel For Whom the Bell Tolls, but THAT was originally a line from Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions, and severall steps in my Sicknes, by poet John Donne in 1624...
I just played Pokemon Red for the first time in a while. Last I played, I was in Vermillion City, training Pokemon. I forgot how broken this game is. I kept getting beat by Drowzees since it keeps putting my to sleep with Hypnosis, and every time I wake up, it puts me back to sleep again...
Well here's the thing, look at this archive:
http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/archive/
There has been at least one Nintendo Direct a month for over a year, some even having two Nintendo Directs in a month, thought the extra one is to promote a particular game or something.
Again, it's...
Seeing aside the obvious flame bait and the two idiotic but surprisingly common suggestions...
How is Ghirahim "too obscure"? He was one of the main antagonists in the last major Zelda game! Vaati feels more obscure then him, and Vaati was in three times as many games as Ghirahim!
...As to...
