I have discovered that your profile picture is of anime girl Goofy. Yes, you read that correctly, Goofy the silly dog man from Disney Cartoons. That was unexpected.
There are some areas where political discussion and video game discussion naturally intersect, such as when global events effect the availability or price of games, and how some governments censor or ban video games. For that reason, I don't think that politics should be entirely banned here...
I predict that canon name will be the most popular option. The names are usually iconic to the characters, I just like coming up with names myself when the option's there.
Some video games allow you to name the main playable character to help create a connection between them and the player. It's a small and not super important feature, but I still like when it's included. There are a few philosophies people have when it comes to naming characters, and I'm curious...
If there specific game idea that has a good reason for giving us more doppelganger type characters in a creative way then it could work, but I don't think Nintendo needs to jump on to giving everyone a Wa-counterpart just because. I kind of like that Wario and Waluigi is just a single instance...
1. Paper Mario TTYD
2/3. (really close) Super Paper Mario/The Origami King
4. Color Splash
Overall I don't really hate any Paper Mario game I've played, even Color Splash which I put in last place. I also find that each and every Paper Mario game I've played has parts that I really don't enjoy...
Is there any way to check what member number you are? I don't think there would be a reason to keep that data, but it would be interesting to find out.
This might be an interesting topic for discussion. So let's here each other out. The questions below are additional discussion topics if you'd like to answer in more detail.
Do you read the newspaper, watch the news on television, or find it online?
What specific news organizations do you...
My first Mario game was Mario Kart double-dash, in fact, MKDD was my first video game ever. Back then, I was too young to even read, let alone actually handle driving the kart, so I mostly shot items while my dad did the driving.
Vanilla Lake from the original Super Mario Kart, specifically the one that spams ice blocks all over the track. There are other tracks in the Mario Kart series that I find uninteresting, but those levels are the only ones I actively dislike playing. At least the music is kind of nice.
I just beat the 193 United Nations Member States quiz. It's on the website Seterra if any of you would like to try that or other map quizzes.
Any serious villlain should familiarize himself with potential lands to conquer and influence should he not?
You are the King/Queen/Monarch of Boardsania for one day, then someone else has to have a turn before you can rule again. Every day you may pass one law or take one royal action. You can't make yourself rule for longer than a day, change the amount of laws that can be passed in a day, or...
It may be Halloween, but the scariest day of the year in the United States is five days from now.
I encourage voting if you're eligible, and to stay hopeful even if your preferred candidates don't win, there are still many ways to involve yourself in your community, advocate for your values and...
Most official material that I can recall off the top of my head, such as manuals and in game text refers to the majority of generic enemies as if they were male or gender neutral, but I could easily be overlooking something. Cheep-cheep was the only enemy referred to as female in the manual to...
This game was really good overall, even though I felt it was a little on the easy side, and would have liked to see a greater variety of bosses. I'd be excited to see a Super Mario Bros. Wonder theme added to the next iteration of the Mario Maker series.
If you ever stop by the boards again, I would like to express support, and thank you for the wealth of insightful and entertaining trivia that you've collected over the years.
Even outside of my own interest in Mario, your blog's dedication to veracity and proper sourcing has personally...
My opinion is between option 2 and option 5. I like Waluigi, and would be happy to see him upgraded to a fighter but there are many other characters that I'd enjoy as additions more.
How powerful is this guy?
He has his own battle music.
Okay, that's a pretty high baseline.
It includes a pipe organ and choral accompaniment.
...Dear god.
I'd teach baby Luigi maths, not because baby Luigi is my favorite, but because I feel like it's the subject I'd be the best at teaching. I'm not sure he'd be old enough to understand much of the subject, but in the Mario universe babies are capable of driving go-karts through incoming traffic...
Sorry, I traveled back in time to the year 1980 and moved a chair in the Nintendo headquarters, and now the Mr. Video Boards seem to be called the Super Mario Boards. At least I was able to prevent Nintendo from being bought by Sony in 2000. That timeline was awful.
Since this is an old thread it's interesting to note that there have been several platform fighters or "smash-likes" to put it more crudely released with non-video game characters now.
Anyways, for smash particularly I think it would be funny to add characters specific to non video-game...
The question's options don't necessarily mean that most people have never heard of Dick Cheney, Don't know could also include people who have heard of him but don't have a strong opinion about his favorability.
