May not be exactly what this thread is focused on, but when I play Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and name the Yoshi Kid I usually make references to other media I like such as Kingdom Hearts and Love Live.
Magikoopas were enemies in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and were only one of three typical Mario enemies in the game, the other two being Goombas and Bob-ombs.
A little note about the R enemies, in Dream Team's expert challenge list the plural for R enemies is listed before the R e.g "Dreamcaps R". Brothership doesn't appear to show plural for the R enemies but maybe on the side of caution we should do it like it's written in Dream Team.
Mostly the same as Sparks but with Partners in Time over Paper Jam. Haven't decided where exactly Brothership would go just yet though, but over Superstar Saga at least.
Also, Bowser's Inside Story is a very fun game but I get more excitement out of Dream Team.
Something that's been on my mind, do we necessarily need articles for all the Glohm enemies? To me, this is comparable to the Malatone enemies from Bowser Jr.'s Journey: enemies infected by a substance relevant to the game's storyline and made stronger with a nasty gimmick but still behave the...
This game did drag on a bit but I thought it was a great game and even got very dark and creepy towards the end. The final boss is my new favorite one of the series. My best original game of the year for sure, but hard to say if it beats the Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door remake for best game...
On another note, I have a feeling Nintendo have gotten tired of Peach being a captive a lot and are steering away from that. As far as I'm aware, Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Paper Mario: The Origami King are the only Switch original games where she needed rescuing at all.
I've noticed the Koopalings have barely appeared in games during the Switch era, despite them appearing quite a lot since New Super Mario Bros. Wii throughout the 3DS and Wii U eras; they were in all the subsequent New Super Mario Bros. games, Mario Kart 8, Mario & Luigi games from Paper Jam to...
The road to Mario & Luigi: Brothership has now ended with half a month to spare. I know Paper Jam gets a lot of backlash for similar reasons as Paper Mario: Sticker Star but I don't think it's a bad game and I do enjoy playing it even if it's not as exciting as Dream Team.
Also, Brothership...
Dream Team is done, it may be the longest but it's still a lot of fun, though I will admit I'm not a huge fan of the final boss. Just Paper Jam left and the road to Mario & Luigi: Brothership is done.
We'll move it once Jamboree releases. There was a proposal to move it way before Jamboree was announced but it was heavily opposed because the name hadn't been used in any games, and there was another proposal which did pass to wait until game releases before changing names.
I've been to London lots of times and the areas I've been are not too bad. It really depends where about of London you visit, lots of cities throughout the world have their good and bad areas. Speaking as someone who lives in England by the way.
Gone through the original Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Compared to the remake, it honestly feels so much better balanced. It generally takes less turns to defeat enemies and battles are more fast-paced. The remake did do justice with the atmosphere in the final area and how it gave two...
I have now started the road to Mario & Luigi: Brothership, starting with the original Superstar Saga. I don't have a Game Boy Advance so I play it on the Wii U virtual console. First time in years I played this version and there's no doubt I'm much more used to the mechanics in the 3DS version...
I hate what happened to Top Gear after the departure of Clarkson, Hammond and May. The BBC seemingly tried to keep it going with different hosts and it didn't work well.
I'm gonna steer clear of spoilers for Mario & Luigi Brothership so I might not be as perceptive on the wiki's recent changes. I also won't be watching any trailers nor contributing to coverage until after it releases.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake, with Nostalgic Tunes on the whole playthrough. The music has always been a big part of my enjoyment in games, and playing this game with the old soundtrack gives a much different vibe than the new one. The new soundtrack feels like they went all out...
These are the games I have played (all installments of each series):
Mainstream Super Mario series
Paper Mario
Mario & Luigi
Luigi's Mansion
Mario + Rabbids
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
The Blues Brothers, a musical comedy about two musician brothers who form a band to raise $5,000 for the orphanage they grew up in but get relentlessly pursued by the police and others they anger along the way. A great film to see if you like blues music.
