Super Mario 3D Land

Re: Complete Super Mario 3D playthrough at E3

I sure hope they put in more exploration levels.

Re: Complete Super Mario 3D playthrough at E3

The camera angle used really remind me of this game. And yeah, it looks slow.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

The linearity of the levels scare me

It is a beta and it is unfinished or Mario is slow to stop players rushing through the game

No, Mario's running speed is like, at a snail's pace.

Ugh, why are Mario games getting slower every year?

Re: Super Mario 3DS

People, the gameplay looks slower, because you're watching a recorded footage, which is always a bit slower than it actually is.
I've played one of the levels, and it's not that slow, but the rolling move is a kind of slow.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

this level design is pathetic

I mean seriously what the hell?

I'm not very impressed with the game so far.
Why, all the levels i've seen look very fun. Theres still more to come. World 2-5 may only be halfway Through World 2.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

I'm disappointed that there are no vast levels. I'm getting tired of Super Mario Galaxy-like levels.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

Maybe I'm being nostalgic, but it doesn't look as fun as Bob-omb Battlefield.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

Bob-omb battlefield is little boring but if there a remake of this level, it will be more better and harder same as whomp fortress

Re: Super Mario 3DS

Yeah, I replay the levels often in Super Mario 64 often. These levels I'm seeing has little replay-ability,

Re: Super Mario 3DS

I don't think there would be a main hub, as it works like Super Mario Bros. series, but you can move around on a roaming world, instead of a side-scrolling world.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

I thought it would be like SM64 or SMG, until I played it myself, and it really feels like a new kind of Super Mario Bros. game.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

I saw complete playthrough in youtube and it have stage select, maybe because of world map or 3D of world 1 that you enter door or pipe to play in stage

Re: Super Mario 3DS

No, the Stage Select is because it's a Demo, it was on the NSMB E3 Demo too.
But if you really think it's more like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy, why do you think levels are called "1-1", "1-2", etc., instead of "Super Epic Stage", "Get the Pole!", etc.?

Re: Super Mario 3DS

As far as I can remember, SMG2 also uses names.

Re: Super Mario 3DS

I think they will be a World map. If they had 1-1, 3-5 etc. I would just think that they are going to put down a World Map. I would love to see how they would turn out.
