Only 2,5 days left, and the Wii U Launches here.
I can't wait to treat my Wii U as "having the Console", instead of "playing the Console".
 
I can't wait to play the console at all. I missed out on the EB Expo.

There's a midnight launch event at most EB Games stores around Australia. I might go to it, since this is the first launch of any game console I've actually witnessed, not counting 3DS.
 
there's going to be a midnight launch at the EB Games at my workplace. Not going to bother attending, tho, since I ordered my Wii U from a different shop, and I'll be getting it on my break that day.

Also because anyone who goes to the shops at midnight for anything other than emergency supplies from one of the few retailers open that late is a psycho.

Thats what it said before i did the move. Will this erase the wii u game data on the wii u also? I need to know before i erase all the data that i did.

EDIT: I did this but now I can't play Virtual Console games because the GamePad doesn't allow me to use it as a controller. Do i have to buy a classic controller now?
 
I'll be keeping my Wii, have it next to the Wii U. I have GameCube games so i don't think it's worth bringing data over

Hey, there's a rumor that a game called 'Yoshi's Land' is coming to the Wii U. Apparently it was listed on some retailers thing or something and the wii mini was leaked on the same site, so it's sort of believable. That and someone found a debug menu or something on miiverse and the game was there. I don't know all the details obviously.

But it's still just a rumor.

If you want to play your Virtual Console games, yes.

Lol, that was just a bad pun. I literally have like 50 posts, so no doubt that some of you will see my posts. And no, it's not because of the friendship thing.

Speaking of which, got 100% on NSMBU. I "cheated" on World 9-2 by using the P-acorn. Also, I had the P-acorn on a underground level in World 6, tested it in the area before you go underground, and I flew so high I went over the wall and out on the other side where the flagpole was. I only used 30 seconds to beat that level...

And the thing I dislike about new consoles is that there isn't much variation of games to choose from. I only have 2 games, so I have to slowly rebuild my collection as big as my Wii collection of over 25 games.

Also, has anyone done the system transfer? I found the Pikmin stuff so cute!
 
Just found out the price for this at one of the local games stores. Converting the price into American dollars, it's about $625 for the premium pack. (that's an aproximate, my math could be a little off.) So I know now what I'm not getting for Christmas.

That's not the best option when you have people selling consoles that have been microwaved on there. You'd probably be better getting one preowned from a game store.
 
Yeaaaah, the games shops where I live, in addition to overpricing the games and consoles, also don't have preowned games and consoles for sale.

So, the Wii U has frozen three times one me now, in the 4 days I've had it. (2 times in Assassin's Creed loading and 1 time in the NSMBU title screen)

I hope the patch will come soon. I have to unplug it every time it does this.

And I added Nabber as a friend! I'll try to get everyone else sometime soon.

Maybe it depends on how long you play it?

I mean, these last few days I've been playing since I got home from school until the battery one the gamepad was low, usually around 7 or 7:30.

I probably have somewhere between 20-30 hours logged, mostly from ACIII (I once played twelve hours straight), so I'm not sure how long I'd have to play it to get it to freeze, if indeed that's a contributing factor. The initial update took forever, though.
