Wii U

Nintendo on Wii launch: Wii Sports, Wii Play, WarioWare, Super Mario Galaxy announced, Super Smash Bros Brawl already shown to the public, Twilight Princess port to Wii, Metroid Prime 3 ready to launch.
Nintendo on Wii U launch: New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendoland, Pikmin 3 promised to launch somewhere in the launch window (which is extremely vague), promise of a new 3D Mario existing, confirmation that Smash Bros 4 exists, HD port of Wind Waker announced to release a year after launch.

It's either that Nintendo is depending on third parties to fill the gap, or they honestly think that the Wii brand is powerful enough to sell a console without games.

Look at the 3DS. They've been a lot busier on that front- they have not been slacking with first party titles. Also, Wii Play wasn't a launch title, TP was a GameCube title, and WarioWare was a minigame collection.

But if you're bringing up console announcements, consider...
Next console 3D Mario Game
Sm4sh
Wii U Zelda
New game from Monolith Soft, second party title
Unknown Retro Studios title
Yoshi's Epic Yarn
Mario Kart U

So yeah...

All of which are coming almost a year after the console launched, and I already said Twilight Princess was a port and Wii Play WAS a launch title according to Wikipedia, and last time I checked Luigi's Mansion is a second-party game and Fire Emblem was released April last year in Japan, so yes, Nintendo's EAD is late on releasing first party games on the Wii U, so they're depending on the nonexistent third parties to fill out a WHOLE YEAR of the console's lifespan while they do what they should've done a year ago.

Here is something I caught when I turned on my Wii U:

(Its New Super Mario's Mii. He did it for a good five minutes.)

Also, I hope that some new Wii U games come out because NSMBU and Nintendo Land just isnt cutting it after 5 months.

I've seen Mii's doing that more often. And yes, if you tap them they will do their animation until you unfocus them.

Buy Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and LEGO City Undercover, I have both of those games

We are getting Lego city soon. I dont want Monster Hunter 3 though.

Why? The online mode is great and I "hacked" it that I can say bad words without censor

Do you mean you replace some letters with characters that look exactly like them like I once did?

So the system update of Spring is releasing next week. Neat.

more specifically, on monday

as nintendo has announced that the virtual console will release a day after, and they just announced the virtual console will release on tuesday

Anyway, I can't wait for game & wario. The minigames may not have as many levels as nintendo land's minigames did but it has that quantity over quality thing. Nintendoland's minigames were way too long. I do understand why they packed so many into the game though, it is because it is the pack in game for the system.

Strange, usually all eShop Content get Updated on Thursdays in EUR/USA/AUS, and Wednesdays in JPN/KOR/however Hong Kong and Taiwan are shortened.

Has the System Update occurred yet? I tried self-updating it earlier this morning, but apparently it's already up to date. Nintendo's site says that the update is available now, but I'm not sure.

No, nothing received on my side neither.
