I found out something funny on the Miiverse website. Some symbols are actually just letters, but with a special MiiverseSymbols font.

I have made a page where all characters are shown.

If you install the font, this should be a Friend symbol: f
 
I've installed the Font on my iMac, and I can confirm, it works.

Yes, the future of video games consists of companies begging for money. However, it's not that bad. At least their only asking for "$2" each but I feel it's unnecessary sense you can get an "actual" game for $2 on virtual console.
 
The wii u is so much faster now, rather than waiting 5 minutes to go from miiverse to the menu, it takes 5 seconds.
Virtual console is awesome as well, can't wait to see what other titles they launch for that in the future. I would like to see a new virtual console title every thursday, but then again this is nintendo were talking about here.
 
well, it appears that nintendo has somehow found a way to access my wii shop channel data

as i can download VC games at the discounted price

i downloaded SMW for $1.50

i also noticed you can install in the background now

which is nice

Have you transferred your data from the Wii to the Wii U? Might be how the data's accessed. In any case, the discount is nice.

then my wii u bricked and i had to get a new one

so idk how they got it

seems like you just have bad luck, that's all
 
my wii nor my wii u has ever done that. None of my systems have ever done that. The only problem I have with my Wii U is that sometimes it will freeze when I try to go back to the wii u menu and I have to unplug the system, plug it back in and turn it back on.
 
Are any of guys on Miiverse? You should check out some of the drawing people have done on there, it's pretty amazing.
 
I make drawings, mostly of my mii inside of the game I am playing. For example, for the punchout community, I posted a drawing of my mii as a boxer and even made comics with him in it.
 
As far as I know, that means you've got an update that's either still going or needs to be added. No big deal.

Mine was like that when I had a YouTube update that was finished but I hadn't tried going into YouTube to finish it completely. Then it was back to normal when I'd entered YouTube and gotten rid of that update.
 
I'm kind of upset at Nintendo right now.

I get the Console on Day 1 when it came out in November and I got NSMBU and Nintendo Land with it.

Half a year later, and I still am waiting on some good games to come out from Nintendo's 1st party games, like Pikmin and Zelda. Same with the 3DS basically.

Next thing I know, there are like 5 games for the Wii U and 7 games for the 3DS from their 1st party games that are coming out in the last half of the year, and now it's going to be so annoying trying to save up all this money to buy $460 worth of video games in a matter of 6 months.

I'm not a man of a lot of money. The most money I have ever owned was $120, which is a 1/3 of how much all of those will cost.
