Wii U

Wait... Miiverse is on PC now?

Dang how did I miss this?

Anyway, this could be good for users on the Wiki as it will allow HD images to be posted onto the wiki (assuming that's allowed by Miiverse's Code of Conduct) and once posting becomes available on PCs it could be easier to make some really good drawings.

The screenshots are limited to 800px wide.

For one, posting replies is already possible, just not drawing. Two, that would be unfair and should be limited to touch devices such as iDevices and Android.

I'm kind of upset at Nintendo right now.

I get the Console on Day 1 when it came out in November and I got NSMBU and Nintendo Land with it.

Half a year later, and I still am waiting on some good games to come out from Nintendo's 1st party games, like Pikmin and Zelda. Same with the 3DS basically.

Next thing I know, there are like 5 games for the Wii U and 7 games for the 3DS from their 1st party games that are coming out in the last half of the year, and now it's going to be so annoying trying to save up all this money to buy $460 worth of video games in a matter of 6 months.

I'm not a man of a lot of money. The most money I have ever owned was $120, which is a 1/3 of how much all of those will cost.

Go buy lego city undercover, need for speed, monster hunter 3, toki tori 2 and runner2

I don't know, I've already got a pretty good collection of 3DS games already.

I'm not too fussed personally. They don't have the games then whatever, I have the console early and can play the few games I have as much as I want until I get some more. I'd rather wait a bit longer than get mediocre games.

He's talking about the ability to actually make posts instead of just replies.

Nonetheless, drawing is not possible.

Lego city we've been thinkin about, but with all those games coming out, I rather save money for those games. I mean, Pikmin 3 >>>>> Lego City. As for the other four, I'm not into those games.

Super Mario 3D Land (3DS, $30)
Killer is Dead (PS3, $60)
Metal Gear Legacy Collection (PS3, $50?)
Metal Gear Solid V (PS3, $60)
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix (PS3, $50?)
Wii U ($350)
PS4 ($400?)
Xenoblade Successor (WiiU, $60)
Next 3D Mario Title (WiiU, $60)
Wind Waker HD (WiiU, $60?)
Batman: Arkham Origins (PS3, $60)
Rayman Legends (WiiU, $60)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (WiiU, $60?)
Whatever The Fuck Retro is working on (WiiU, $60)

Steam stuff can wait for a sale.

Altogether, this adds up to $1420.

How do I cut this list down and not push myself into homelessness?

Well, for most of these- especially the consoles- I'll just wait 'til Black Friday!

The must-haves, however, are 3 3DS games and 2 MGS Games. Those will cost me $210. Much more manageable.

Try more like 80$ bro, and Metal Gear Solid V is probably due for next year, at the earliest, same with Retro's game and X.
Also, Super Mario 3D Land has been on sale a lot, wait for it to drop, probably on Black Friday.

Next 3D Mario Title (WiiU, $60)

This all you really need.

The HD collection with MGS1, 2, 3, and Peace Walker was about $60, so with the addition of MGS4, it could very well go up to $80.
No it wasn't.

A, the HD Collection didn't even have MGS1.
B, the HD Collection cost $40 upon release.

Not if he wants to lead to a complete gaming experience and not just stick to one genre.

Let me make a correction,

This all I really need.

Um..... why?

I don't really need to waste my time with any other franchices. Besides, I've played other non-mario games for years. They don't provide the satisfaction like nintendo games do. Before you say it, yes, I'm a fanboy and I don't really care.

PIKMIN 3, hey?

Injustice: Gods Among Us and Arkham City: Armored Edition would like a word with you. Seriously, broaden your horizons. These are both good Wii U games that are better than the current Mario game on Wii U.

Because then you're not enjoying the medium to it's full potential. Hey, if you only want to spend time on one ice cream flavor it's fine, but you're missing out on all those other great experiences while having nothing to eat in the meantime.

That's sad, because I find Rayman Origins to be better than NSMBU in nearly every aspect.

I already spent years playing these "games" and they profit little. I have more fun and have great memories from playing nintendo games that I was born and raised on. Believe me, ice cream is just fine for me. I would rather pass on having all the nudity, blood, sex, filthy language and whatever immoral thing you can possibly throw into a game these days. I'm alot older than you must think and I've played my fair share of games in my day. Anything other than nintendo I have no desire for.

Sticking to one franchise isn't a bad thing. I do it too with the Mario series, although I will occasionally play something like Kirby or Pokemon. I used to play Spongebob games, but the newer ones suck, so I only play the older ones
