Worst Mario Game Ever

Yes, but I think preschoolers or other little kids would think Mario Teaches Typing or something like that would be fun. I remember how awesome it was to have Mario teaching typing when I was little, even though I did not need to be taught how to type.
 
I don't recall ever playing that game.

The pirate-made Mario games are even worse. They are not even official, but I'm not sure if it counts.

Me neither, but I had heard about it.

The pirated games don't count. I would only like to count official Mario games.

Still, anyone can basically create a cruddy Mario game. I can, for instance, even though I have completely zip skills in game making. That's why I like to count official Mario games only.
 
At least the Worst Mario games were not so bad that they had to be sent to a landfill.
 
Those only happened to the cruddy filler Atari games made waaayyy back then
 
Another question: Did Hotel Mario and Mario is Missing get a Nintendo Seal of Quality?

If yes, then geez, Nintendo is pretty generous that part. Or at least not very strict.

I think so. If they didn't, they wouldn't exist in the market
 
But Hotel Mario is for the CD-i, which isn't a Nintendo console. I thought the Seal of Quality is supposed to be something like compatibility and trust with Nintendo games.
 
Honestly, I don't know much about Mario's early history, so either shouldn't ask me or you and I should do some research.
 
Anyway, some bad Mario games have horrific sprites. I mean, look. At. Them. Mario is Missing is the best example. This is where the stupid Weegee fad spawned. Ack. Would you like to meet those sprites in a dark alley? *shivers* Some of them are even scarier than Weegee.
 
Hotel Mario's cutscene images are even worse than Mario is Missing sprites.

I know, but we can't find any games to ridicule.

Some sprites in the Edutainment games are horrific.
 
I wouldn't call myself a professional spriter, but I bet ten million bucks that I can create better sprites than those in Mario is Missing
 
Let's see, what is the worst Mario game that Nintendo developed? Mario Kart DS, I suppose.
 
Nah, Mario Kart DS is good in its own right, even though I liked it the least out of all Mario Kart games
 
I'm not saying if it is good or not, I'm just saying if it is the worst Nintendo-made Mario game.

How about Mario Clash?
 
Mario Kart DS is certainly not one of the worst games. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is worse.

Never played the obscure title, though.
 
Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn't that bad; it is just overrated like hell.

So does that mean Mario Kart DS is worse?
 
I really don't know. It expanded the character exclusive karts, had the best battle mode in the series, and has several of my favorite courses (Shroom Ridge, Waluigi Pinball).

Of course, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages such as crappy AI, limited roster, etc
 
Not to mention Spiny Shells lingering every corner.

Mario Kart DS is better when hacked. But isn't every game better when hacked?

The worst Mario Wii game is Mario Party 8, IMO, even though I liked it.

Admittedly, it's true, even though I did enjoyed it as well. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is down there as well
