Sonic Generations

It looks like the Rival battles are like in the Rivals games something make characters come together jump to the wrong conclusion then fight
 
Well there is that theory that the culprit who is responsible for the time mess tricked Shadow and Silver into attacking Sonic. Afterwards, they would be indirectly involved with helping Modern Sonic stop the true enemy.

Metal Sonic was established as Sonic's rival before Knuckles was, but supposedly, the events of Sonic CD took place after Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Whoa... Wait a minute... Even though Metal Sonic is an obvious rival for Sonic, I think there was no doubt in anyone's mind that Knuckles was Sonic's rival before Shadow showed up. They were always at odds with each other, and they were pretty much each other's opposite.

Not to mention, isn't it neat to have a rival character who ISN'T a hedgehog or a Sonic clone? Metal Sonic, as awesome as he is, is literally Sonic's metallic clone.

Yeah, he is NOW. But back then, they were mostly rivals, with Knuckles usually preferring solitude to hanging out with Sonic.

However, Sega incidently leaked the Trailer way to early, but YamiHoshi.nl has their hands on this Trailer in 720p.
As promised to Sega, this Trailer will not be published before 3:00 PM CEST.

Like I've said before, the wait was nessesary, because of the embargo.
If I've set it to Public to early, it could be that the PR would kick me out from their Press Lists.
If that wasn't the case, I've got it set publicly as soon as I've got the Trailer.

Boy it seems that most of the bosses are for Modern Sonic only. Classic Sonic gets Classic Metal Sonic and the Giant Mech.
 
It's funny how they show Modern Robotnik in the cockpit of one of his machines, but only showed the giant robot from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and not the Robotnik driving it.

So that weird dark cloud thing is responsible for the whole time-space mess-up? Okay.
