This must be the Crystal Kingdom. Really nice scenery. The castle is nice. I think Cadence might have an even more beautiful castle then Celestia's!

Doubt it. And to be honest I also think I wouldn't like it too much either. Unless it's done really well.

At the very least, she'll be working as a minion of some sort for the villain. Perhaps the necklace is a mind control device of some sort?

One, Future Twlight looks really scared of Doctor Whooves/Doctor Whoof/Time Turner/whatever his name is (bottom left corner)
Two, Vinyl has her arm around Octavia, and they're both looking at something that's been cut off. Octavia's obviously shocked at it, while Vinyl's in... wonder, maybe? (center right of image)
Three, Big Macintosh and Cheerilee are looking romantically at each other (top left corner)

Anything else?

I was wondering about that two. I assumed the poster is just all of those pictures mashed up anyways.

The fans make the vectors though. The original pic is the mish-mash of characters. There's just talented enough vector artists that can complete the spots that are covered up by the other characters. I'm pretty sure the same thing was done for the Season 1 poster.
 
My thoughts on the possible season 3 spoilers...

The Crystal Fair's looking good... I DEFINITELY want to know what's up with Carousel Boutique being abandoned and Sweet Apple Acres dying out...

Wait... The necklace Trixie is wearing... Doesn't it remind you of that evil-looking pony head revealed a while back? I knew she was evil.

I just took them from the #MLP-VectorClub, but you'd have have to look in the right folders to find them. These ones were from the "Group" folder. Also, some poses were reused from show, so you would find that in the older stuff.

I wonder if the Crystal Kingdom is possibly where Trixie originally lives. It's a possibility. Or at least where she moved to ever since her traveling stagecoach was destroyed by the Ursa Minor.

I think unless one or some of us gets upset (Non-jokingly of course) over it. This is the fun part about Speculation :)
 
I wrote a random rant about Dragon Quest that I felt like putting here.

I found it to be the worst episode of the season, if not the series.

1. Unlike in Secret of My Excess or even Owl's Well, Spike is portrayed not only as the one in the wrong, but the Mane 6, who clearly used him as a chew toy, were shown as being in the right; just like in Mare do Well, the ones who respond to fire with fire are praised. Spike got a half-assed apology at the end and then was put back in his place because he can't sell toys as well as ponies he's a boy Merriwether is a bad writer. Instead of an episode where we actually learn more about this world (which she did an okay job of in HWE), we basically learned that dragons migrate and that teenage dragons are assholes. On that note...

2. It's sexist. No, really. Although it's obviously a show aimed at girls, it has done a good job in the past at positively portraying both sexes (and negatively; villains are about 50/50 gender-wise), like any Merriwether episode, we get one-dimensional antagonists. But you know what? After the belly flop, they began to treat Spike as an actual equal, so other than killing birds for fun, they treated him better than the Mane 6. I'm sure this was unintentional on this part. Merriwether likes simple messages; this one is effectively "Boys are all dumb unless they act as subordinates". And that's just what happens; Spike goes back to being a beta character, whether he likes it or not.

However, am I the only person thinking that the Crystal Empire will be the season finale? The EQD post shows that the leaks are labeled E12 and E13.

I didn't notice that. Sounds like that may very well be the case. I did hear that the staff actually finished Episode 13 before any of the others.
