Have an extended synopsis for the Scootaloo episode coming later

"Over a campfire, Rainbow Dash decides to share some imaginative and spooky tales, causing Scootaloo to have frightening, vivid nightmares; Scootaloo wants to get rid of her nightmares but doesn't want the others to think she is spineless."
She's totally getting her cutie mark.

Is it going to bin in not getting scared?

So she kills them right?

Reminds me of Read It & Weep, only not stupid.

Got my first taste of season 3 today with the new episode...

...and honestly, I didn't care for neither Babs nor the episode itself. Granted I wasn't able to watch the whole thing (got about two thirds through (when the CMCwere making the new float, exactly) before I had to leave) but I was really unimpressed with what I watched, and unless the last part is really special, I think this could beat "A Friend in Deed" as my least favorite episode of the series.

I'm gonna give my opinion on the the type of episode MLP just tried to do (not the episode itself) as well as my thoughts on the next episode.
First off I hate every cartoon that tries to do an anti bullying message because it's just not something a cartoon should try. For starters almost every cartoon has bullying in it prior to the anti bullying episode and many of times that bullying has been done by main characters (not so much this show) so it comes off as hypocritical to let some characters get away with it when others (usually a one time character) can't. Second and this is my biggest (and probably final point) every single anti bullying cartoon uses the wrong message that message being that bullying is bad because it hurts people's feelings and usually after learning this said bully usually reforms blah blah blah. That message is bad for this very reason OF COURSE IT HURTS PEOPLE'S FEELINGS THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT OF BULLYING PEOPLE IF I DIDN'T WANT TO HURT THEM I PROLLY WOULDN'T DO IT THESE EPISODES ARE MISTAKING BULLYING WITH MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE (usually in a playful matter) AS GOING TO FAR THOSE ARE DIFFERENT THINGS AND NEED TO BE TREATED AS DIFFERENT THINGS. So the real message needs to be not only that bullying is bad but that if you do bully people you will be fucking punished for it. TBH I think this would have been better had they used silver spoon instead of another character because then you could actually have Silver Spoon learn the lesson and become friends with the CMB and have her help them on their quest (also I don't understand why cartoons seem to think apologies should be immediately believed if somebody makes your life a living hell you shouldn't forgive them they should have to prove that they are sorry then you forgive them)

Second I don't really care for the next episode premise because I think it will be poorly handled. First off I feel the idea of having a character who was some what antagonistic suddenly become evil is cliched and stupid (I think the necklace thing is even more cliched and stupid!) I think a better premise would have been her reutrning and challenging Twilight to a magic off so that they could determine which one of them is a better magician and then when she lost (which she would) she would actually be humbled (also during my idea she would totally have to cheat because every character who is ever challaging people cheats). Also I think the ending will be stupid no matter how it ends because I think there are only two possible endings 1. She gets defeated and is essentially killed I don't like this option because it seems harsh to kill off a character because she wore an evil necklace considering the fact that she had no way of knowing the necklace was evil and wouldn't be in control of her actions. And the second ending is that she gets defeated and doesn't remember what she did I don't like this ending simply because it's to cliched (also apology for the destruction is not mandatory).

The general opinion on that last episode is generally mixed. I haven't seen 100% Positive or 100% Negative reactions anywhere.

But I'll remain on saying that I enjoyed the episode. There will be people who were bullied themselves who call bullshit on the moral. But eh.

Was the moral bullying is bad because it hurts people?

basically
Babs Seed was bullied for not having a cutie mark so she decided to bully her cousin for not having a cutie mark so she could be popular. Trying to get back at Babs, the CMC create a booby-trapped float and convince Babs to ride in it so she can fall into a muddy pond. After finding out that Babs was bullied, the CMC push Babs out of the float and the CMC fall into the mud and Babs doesn't get in trouble and is all "hi I'm going to be your friend now" and then they live happily ever after
so yeah bad episode

ouch that's bad even for an episode about bullying...should of just called her a ****** I mean that's what I do in life
EDIT: I don't even understand is the moral that bullying is bad if you get caught or is it don't retaliate

Ok, so I'm bored right now, so I'm going to guess how next week episode's going to go or what it should have at least.

First, I think they should start off with a little backstory after Trixie gets humiliated by Twilight. What I mean is show her being sad, angry, or both. I think having Sombra as a voice in her head saying "hey you look sad, what's wrong?". Trixie will be like, "those ponies or Twilight or whoever humiliated me and i want revenge" and Sombra will be like "maybe we can work somethin' out". That would be MUCH better than her randomly finding some stupid necklace and something compelling her to wear it. I swear if they don't say or show Trixie's backstory or how she got the necklace, I am going to call total bullshit. It'd be better if it was in the beginning before the gist of the episode since I think it'd be a much stronger impression than it being in the middle or the end, but whatever.

Ok then the battle and crap commences and Twilight is exiled and blah blah. Trixie is a douche to the others and Twilight can't help because she's exiled. In my opinion, I think it would be better if the other 5 helped put an end to Trixie's reign of terror rather than Twilight by herself. The show's called called MLP: Friendship is Magic, not MLP: Twilight and Friends. I will be very angered if this turns out to be another "lol only twilight can stop this monster" episode, especially since the two parter 3 weeks ago was one of these (3 weeks when this episode airs, mind you). I get that some people may be mad that Twilight "will not get her revenge!!!!", but this isn't a show about getting revenge on others for being assholes.

Lastly, like I stated previously, I will be disappointed if it turns out Trixie was just innocent and she's all like "hey gaiz, wut happened?!1??" or "where am i????" after she is defeated. I think it'd be cool if she was like turned to stone or disintegrated into little particles or something cool like that, since she's probably not innocent at all and I will call total bullshit if she was helpless to Sombra's power and Sombra didn't have to bribe or goad her into ultimate power. I want Trixie to face consequences for her action if she indeed get it, like Sombra taking her soul or life force or whatever away. That may be overdoing for a kid's show though, but I stick with my notion on her turning to stone or particles and whatnot.

Anyways, feel free to comment on this or bash it or whatever.

let's make a bet, just because I feel like it

I bet she's not being turned to stone, because this is a children's show and what kind of children's show would turn a poor pony to stone?

I am assuming you forgot the episode with the Cockatrice when it turned Twilight to stone. I don't know the episode name though.

Also, I doubt she's going to turn to stone and stuff and it's going to end up being the cliche helpless person that had nothing to do with this. I'm just stating, in my opinion, what would be the better outcome.

she got unstoned afterwards

they're not going to leave a pony permanently stoned

I never said she would stay permanently stone. I was thinking more of the spell will be broken when Sombra is finally defeated for good or something.

Yeah I don't have high hopes for the rest of this episode.

Be careful when you use the expression "stoned" Nabber. It has many connotations.
implying I didn't put that double entendre there on purpose

There's more to it then that. And exactly why there's also a positive look on the episode from some. Babs Seed is just a child, as such she'll make bad decisions. She moved to Ponyville to get away from the bullying she recieved in Manehatten. We are given no clues as to how bad she was bullied, but obviously it was bad enough to make her betray her own cousin. This is good because in most shows with Bullying issues they don't give the character any motivation for bullying other then because they're just that mean. While it doesn't excuse her actions, no real punishment would of done anything but essentially get the same mistreatment she got in Manehatten. After the CMC saved her from falling into the mud despite the fact the way she treated them she was grateful enough to join the Crusaders even if it was the CMC themselves that set up the float for her.

But this issue is just one of those revolving arguments with no end in sight.

I uh doubt we'll see much of that (Especially Trixie getting killed). I think we'll get the duel within the first half of the episode. Where it starts with Trixie making her grand return and challenging Twilight to a duel. The duel would commence, Trixie wins because of the amulet or whatever enhancing her magic, she uses magic to banish Twilight from Ponyville. Trixie with Sombra or whatever powered evil takes over the town and does humiliating things to some of the residents until Twilight finds something of her own while she was exiled
(In the promos, you can actually see Twilight wearing something, perhaps hinting that Twilight finds her own power-enhancing necklace)
Thus Twilight would come back, there'd be a rematch and Twilight wins this time. Though I can't think right now on how it'd end from there.

Though personally I wouldn't be mad if it was all mind control, from the previous episode with Trixie I didn't see any reason for her to antagonize Twilight. I've said before I'd think she be even more angry at Snips and Snails then Twilight. This episode might disprove that once and for all. But I honestly didn't think Trixie would be all that huge for revenge after her first appearance. Heck Twilight and Trixie had barely any interaction besides during the crowd scene and where Twilight tells Trixie that the Ursa "Major" was actually an Ursa Minor.
