Amazing how different places yield different results.

I set up a similar poll to the one here in a forums specifically for FiM. They have about the same number of votes (The one here as of this post has only one more vote then that one). Here Fluttershy is the more popular pony. Pretty much for the exception of Pinkie the 2 Pegasi here are the more popular here. However in the other poll again as of this post. Pinkie has the most but she isn't too far above Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rarity who are almost neck and neck both Applejack and Rainbow Dash are rather lagging behind though. Surprisingly especially Rainbow Dash. Out of 45 votes there she only got 2 while the rest have 5 or more.

Most of my online friends know I'm one. Heck I've turned most of them intro Bronies themselves. My family also knows and they have no problems as far as I can see. I pretty much helped quite a bit of people at the community I'm at into Bronies (Including MtnDew here). Even if they're not fans most of them are neutral though we did have our fair share of hate as well. But Bronies outnumber the haters over there, I think we even have 1 or 2 Brony mods.

So two bits of interesting news I found out on Equestria Daily today...

-The fourth episode of the second season is going to premiere October 22, it will prominently feature Princess Luna, and it will be a Halloween special
-Apparently, Equestria Daily is now owned by CNN. I don't know the details.

Yeah that fourth episode sounds nice. Though I think the CNN thing is a joke, just by the way Sethisto was talking about it seemed like an obvious joke.
 
And besides, the CNN-styled banner's gone now. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything, but there ya go.

Season Two Episode 4: Luna Eclipsed
Air Date: October 22, 2011
Synopsis: It's Nightmare Night and the macabre celebrations are in full swing when Luna herself shows up in Ponyville, determined to change her frightening public image.

A Halloween episode plus Luna's first appearance should make it quite an anticipated episode. It's just too bad that no matter what happens there will be a group of the fanbase that will be upset that Luna isn't what they want her to be like based on how many fanfictions have been using Luna already

Also I wonder if the Main 6 dress up, what will they be dressing up as? If they make Twilight dress up as a vampire, that'd be the ultimate trolling

I know, right? That's what troubles me, Luna has so many freaking fans despite the fact we know next to NOTHING about her. That's why I'm so curious about Luna; I'd like to know more about her. But it seems that fans have already made up their minds about who and what Luna should be, and they're going to be upset when the people actually MAKING the show don't conform to that. :/

Another thing I've seen floating around was a picture of a cloaked Luna which, I have to say, will NOT help her reputation one bit. Especially since she's got this rather wicked smile on her face.

Kinda willing to bet it's going to be something like I suspected. Luna will of course not meet everybody's expectations but have her own personality to make her stick. Hopefully after the initial "rage", people will get used to however Luna will be like. I don't think that's a sinister smile myself though (Unless it's the possibility that what another pony is imagining Luna to be like and not Luna herself in reality). If it really is Luna I think Luna has a bit of Rainbow Dash in her. In other words a Badass side to her. Nice, Innocent Luna is fine but I want to see more then just that from Luna.

It's funny, I was a little upset with how Party of One went, and extremely taken aback when I saw Flutterrage in The Best Night Ever, but now they're two of my favorite episodes! Not meeting my expectations might be an initial turn-off, but it seems I just need a little warming up to those kinds of things. It's certainly not a sinister smile, but the way her eyes look in combination with the smile give a feeling of "I'm going to play some tricks" or something to that effect. Kind of a naughty sort of way rather than an actually evil thing. Either way, I just want to see what the REAL Luna is like, rather than what everyone expects her to be. I've been waiting for that moment since episode 2 of the first season!
 
It seems like we've got a strong lineup of episodes.
I am honestly scared of the bad Luna reaction that may arise from that episode.
Also, I can't wait to see who the mystery villain is.

Anyways, last night I explained the MLP:FIM craze to my mom, and she was happy about it. She said that it's great that people are watching shows that teach you good lessons and that she wishes that more little girls would watch this show, because it seems to teach good lessons. Then she said she would try to convince my little sister to watch the show, because my Mom doesn't like the shows my little sister watches (Hannah Montana, Wisards of Waverly Place etc....). Then she said as a semi joke that I should watch the show and I said I do and she said that it's wonderful that I was so open minded and was willing to give something so seemingly girly a try, and that there was nothing do be ashamed of, because really, all you're doing is watching a show. She works as the only pediatrician in the area and that she might recommend it to the parents of children who are watching bad show or are moody.
I'm so glad my mom is that awesome. TL;DR version: My mom is proud of me for watching this show.

An animated version of this where the screen flickers, and the image goes dark a couple times, and in one frame Pinkie turns into Pinkamina and then in the next shot her face covers the screen all scary-like sort of like a screamer.

spoiler alert, Rarity gets killed off causing Spike to go spiraling downwards into depression, while there is a love triangle between Gilda, Rainbow and Pinkie

no but I can't wait for more Luna that will finally settle my opinion whether I like her or not (fanon is not enough for me to form an opinion, y'know??)
 
True about Luna. I think I said before that I hope Luna has a badass side to her with that picture that may have been from that episode. I'm sure the staff will do great with Luna, we're just probably going to need a bomb shelter until the guys who rage over fanon being disproven for a little while cools down and people get used to whatever Luna is like.
