I love how well-informed CR! is, because he mentions the "Monorail" song from The Simpsons AND "Ya Got Trouble" from The Music Man! That's why he's so awesome (in addition to being very funny, too).

Well, to be honest, the Flim Flam brothers DID say there were plenty of apples in Equestria so they didn't need Sweet Apple Acres... but then again, that was probably all part of their little scheme... I also love how CR! goes into the definition of "flimflam", just shows you how well he looks into things, and show how well-written, creative, and brilliant this show can be on re-watching!

The Flim Flam brothers are not only jerks, but they have a MAJORLY annoying laugh.

We NEED a Big Mac episode! There MIGHT be one coming soon, but he's sharing it with Cheerilee, and it seems like it's going to be a Cutie Mark Crusader episode anyway...

What I WANT to see is that Lauren Faust episode where Big Mac gets tried of his sisters and granny taking advantage of his calm, less-talky nature and running away. Apparently it got rejected... for God KNOWS what.

Fluttershy at the beginning of this episode, BTW, was the BEST part of the episode, IMO. XP

"can you get Jersey Shore to do that?" ROFL!!!! XD

I loved that ending, BTW.

Just to offer a glimpse of my narrow view of the show:

Main: Applejack (almost Rainbow Dash)
Minor: Spike, I suppose.
Background: The idea that background characters could be good is absurd to me.
Antagonist: I honestly don't know any, but Discord must get props for being voiced by Q.

Well for Background characters it kinda helps to see the fan content that people have done for Background ponies even if course you don't care. It's kinda silly to expand on characters that weren't onscreen for that long. But hey even the Star Wars universe has had it's fair share of that through the Expanded Universe. There's a couple of characters we only see for a few seconds in the actual movies that have some big role in a book or 2.

Not that I find the Star Wars canon much better, but...

I just go by the movies and the games, really.
 
Also regarding Q/Discord/John De Lancie. He'll be heading up to the next BroNYcon this Summer. Along with Lauren Faust. I'm guessing none of us fans here have the resources to attend. But it's nice to hear about some very famous people head up there. Though the last 2 BroNYcons already had the Supervising Director and some of the Voice actors.
 
Actually, I might be able to.
My grandpa wants me to come with him on the Queen Mary II across the Atlantic, so depending on the time, I might be able to attend.
That would be super fun.
 
Uh, Nabber how about we do all we can to not have him come in here. I know he did something where we were doing our favorites despite him having a limited view of the series (I think I remember that all he saw was the last few minutes of Winter Wrap-Up and Applebuck Season and that's it) but I'd rather not bother him here.

Also, I just noticed I may have skipped an episode, "A Dog and Pony Show"
 
I hope the next episode at least somewhat expands the relationship between Twilight and Rainbow Dash (Friendly one at that, in case any shippers get the wrong idea. Though I'm sure nonetheless TwiDash pictures and fics will increase). Besides the one scene where they meet in the Pilot, Twilight and Rainbow haven't really had a big scene between them. And a common thing for books could be the one thing that sort of opens that up.
 
My favorite is definitely the FlimFlam brothers' song.
