Huh, an Indiana Jones reference? Cool. Also, I kinda thought that pony sort of resembles Rainbow Dash, except with different colours.

I think in this case it's Rainbow Dash pretending that she is the hero in the story

Most likely. I wonder how many other books she will read, or if this is the only one she has.

Just a quick question:
Who here watches new episodes as they premier on the TV screen?

I don't because I don't have the HUB. :'(

I do. I haven't missed an episode since I became a fan. The first one I watched on TV as it premiered was Show Stoppers. (The 17 episodes before it I watched on Youtube)

Was Indiana Jones ever a novel?

Aw man, it's gonna be a long day. Looks awesome.

I'm pretty sure it was a movie first. But there are book adaptations of the films that were made after the movies. Though we don't know if the Ponies even have movies or even any kind of television. So books might be their only form of entertainment in terms of media stuff. Not that they'd get bored. They are kinda in a fantasy land and they are fantasy creatures themselves.

I hope there's a Star Wars themed book. Why am I saying this in a spoiler?

Anyways, I finally watched The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 episode. I speculate that the events wouldn't have happened if Rainbow Dash would have shut up about not getting any cider. Rules of Mob Mentality. Also, the battle of Karma and nothing, Karma wins again. Although I cringe from the thought of all those wasted apples.

I will if I can, but these last two weeks I've been beyond occupied on Saturdays. I'm not much of a sleeper, and Sunday is the only day I allow myself to sleep past 6:00 AM.

I guess if I really wanted to watch the new episode, I could just watch a live stream.

I stream the new MLP episodes and LOTS of PMV's, Music, ect. leading up to it. Marathons last about 8-10 hours, then the new episode is shown, followed by the episode repeating for a few hours for those who missed it. Like the stream/want to help out? Below is a donate button.

When I can, I watch them on the Optimum iPad app in private. But I'm busy this weekend, have to go to a stupid math competition and get another headache.
Well at least our teacher is buying us munchkins and hot chocolate.

I WOULD talk about how awesome the Indiana Jones clip is, but there's something else that's had me pre-occupied...

See, this is EXACTLY what I was afraid off with the whole "Derpy" controversy. :'(

Smashgoom (along with others that might be concerned by this), I advise you see this video

And then sing, listen, and/or watch the entire Hakuna Matata song from Lion King.

Well I guess I'm just saying that there isn't a big reason to worry just yet. It's the worrywarts that blew it out of proportion in the first place. There's good news on the Derpy front anyway. WeLoveFine just starting putting the name Derpy back onto the products. As of right now (At least from what I heard) The Last Roundup is still down on iTunes but it doesn't mean the Derpy scene is the main reason why it's not there.

I haven't told anyone of my brony status outside of forums, but I plan to because of this song:

We should all be proud to be bronies, it'll make you 20% cooler:

I Might mention it to them. I mentioned Minecraft and SSoHPKC to them and they loved them so it could work the same way. But they're the kind of people that like gun games and being rebels and stuff while I'm sort of the guy that plays it safe and tries to avoid being a rebel at all costs. So I have no idea how we manage to get along.

Right, cool.

The sooner this Derpy business blows over, the better.

Derpy for Preside- *shot*

I was kind of hoping Derpy had a bigger role in the show. Considering I only found out about her at the start of Season 2 due to seeing someone draw pictures of her on deviantart. I thought she had a bigger role but then I found out she was just a 'Where's Wally'-type Background Character. Kinda disappointed me. So I was glad that she actually got a speaking role and I didnt give two shits about her voice since we should just be glad she was there in the first place.

I just saw Read It and Weep.

This episode was... eh. Then again, I didn't really expect much.

Firstly, I think the idea of reading ANYTHING makes you an "egghead" is... pretty stupid. I literally laughed out loud at Twilight's comment about "not reading doesn't make you stupid".

...Which it doesn't, I know there are illiterate people out there and that's a serious problem and I'm sorry for them, but Rainbow Dash can clearly read. Reading excessively is one thing, but reading for fun? Also, Rainbow Dash should have realized that her friends thought the idea of her being an "egghead" just for reading that one book is ridiculous, by the way they dismissed her original comment.

So that's my main problem with the episode, Rainbow Dash's line of thinking is... pretty silly.

Other than that, everything else was okay. The story of Daring-Do was... like a cliched Indiana Jones story, just with some tribal leader-looking guy as the ultimate "big bad" instead of... well, Nazis and Communists. The traps were interesting, I suppose, but I noticed something...

The trap Daring-Do triggers right before the predator/rat trap, she makes a groaning noise... And yet her lip movement looks like she's trying to say something... Like an "aw shoot" or something.

In that same vein, I noticed that when Rainbow Dash was given her food, Applejack says something to her, but her lips don't move.

One last thing I wanted to comment on, when Rainbow Dash pretends to sleep for Twilight and Fluttershy, her mouth is... really big. Like it takes up over half her face! Yeah, strange animation goofs in this one.

Also, Pinkie Pie yelled something while Rainbow Dash was being chased... I couldn't make it out, what was it? Does anypony know?

So yeah, initial reaction: okay episode.

I also saw the plot synopsis for episode 19: Put Your Hoof Down.

I REMEMBER THAT EPISODE TITLE! AND IT'S A FLUTTERSHY EPISODE! :D

"Iron Will", huh. I wonder what he/she will be like. Either way, the idea of Fluttershy being assertive is... funny. And cute. :3

I must say, though, a Fluttershy episode about being assertive, coming out RIGHT AFTER that SHED.MOV...

Kind of creepy, isn't it?

Full synopsis of Episode 19 as I don't think it's been posted in here yet:

Air date: March 3rd

Title: Putting Your Hoof Down

Synopsis: Iron Will helps Fluttershy become assertive.

Well it's about time we get a Fluttershy episode. I'm also curious to see what Iron Will is like.

Loved Reed it and Weep by the way. Not quite as much as the last two, but still really good. Best Dash episode yet in my opinion.

Just finished watching "Read it and Weep" and it was pretty good. Not the best episode, but still pretty good.

And on the subject of the episode 19 plot sypnosis:

A Fluttershy episode, finally! I'm fairly sure that Iron Will isn't going to suceed with his goal, but this sounds lke a funny episode, and I'm definetly looking forward to it.

Read It and Weep was a pretty funny episode. Most of the moments in the hospital, some of the faces, the Barking Nurse at the end was pretty darn funny. While this probably doesn't rank up with the best episodes in the series, I think it's my personal favorite Rainbow Dash episode. I can't wait to get a 2nd watch.

As for the Fluttershy episode. Are you happy now Gamefreak? xD

Read it and Weep? I liked it, though something about it was a little...underwhelming. Nothing in particular, but it was one of this season's weaker episodes.

I feel terrible about it, but I enjoyed SHED.MOV more.

Well, I think the mouth thing was on purpose, because it's kind of funny.
I think Pinkie said "Hey, why wasn't I invited?"

I really liked this episode, it had a lot of great visual gags such as Rainbow Dash eating her cup, and swinging across the water when there was a bridge right over it. Probably one of my favourite Rainbow Dash episodes. Maybe my second favourite, because I liked Sonic Rainboom a bit better.
