Mario Kart 7

I am now a Major Swerver. Also, I think SNES Rainbow Road is my favorite course because it puts good use to my awesome drift skills.

My favorite courses are Neo Bowser City, Rock Rock Mountain, and Maple Treeway.
NBC: Because of the scenery and great for drifting.
RRM: Has a lot of gliding sections.
MT: I really have no reasons... I just like this course.

My other favorite courses are DK Jungle, Rosalina's Ice World, Wario Shipyard, Daisy Cruiser, Koopa Cape, and Airship Fortress.

Forgot about DK Jungle. I love that course. :dk:
And also Airship Fortress and Dino Dino Jungle.
I don't like Daisy Cruiser much maybe because out of all the courses, I do the worst at Daisy Cruiser and also because of the huge amount of item boxes in that course.

Changed the wheels on my standard combo (Mario, Soda Jet, Gold tires, Swoop) from golden tires to sponge wheels. It sacrifices some top speed for accelaration and handling, which I think has greatly improved my performance online.

The Sponge tires actually handle worse than the Gold Tires while underwater though. For another option, there's always the Wood tires; they're a tad slower, but you do get more pros out of them, especially while underwater.

I don't have a set combo, but the one I use most often is Toad + Roller + Soda Jet + Flower Glider.

What wheels do you use?

My set combo is Yoshi + Bumble V + Mushroom + Beast
It supports the 3 stats the are the most important to me: Speed (3.5 not so high but its above average), Acceleration (3.75), and Mini Turbo (4).
EDIT: Handling (3.75) is also important to me but not as much as the above 3.

Look at my post, I forgot my wheels. I added them.

Sacrificing more top speed and even mini-turbo speed for better handling under water? Not worth it. That little bit in Wario's Galleon, Koopa Cape and maybe Daisy's Cruiser (other water stages don't require drifting through water) doesn't exactly make much of a difference.

Plus it's only just as bad as Golden Tires were on land, not worse. And I generally did decent with that regardless.

It was merely a suggestion, but it's pretty much you, who chooses what you like to use the most. I still can't play the game to know for sure though.

Hey, I just noticed there's no Fake Item Boxes, is this a first?

I call'em Combos:
Mii -> Bruiser -> Wood -> Swooper
Lakitu -> B Dasher -> Standard -> Super Glider

No, they're not in Super Mario Kart or Super Circuit.

Well I'm not a huge fan of the Fake Item Boxes, since you can easily tell them apart. I mean, really. The question mark's upside down and the box is clearly red. And it does terribly as a defense item in MKWii.

They can be useful even if you could tell it apart from a normal Item Box. For example you can put it right after a turn where others wont see it coming, thin roads, edge of a ramp and I think it takes up more space than a Banana, so it is more unavoidable than a Banana and it will stop other players for a longer time than Bananas do.

You haven't experienced the times where Fake Item Boxes are mixed up in a cluster or right after the item boxes where they are basically hidden
