Mario Kart 7

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Nintendo does still own K. Rool, what makes you think they don't?

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Nintendo owns all of Donkey Kong. King K. Rool was in Mario Super Sluggers so they must still own him too. He'd make a good playable character.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

I have an idea: GOOMBA TO PLAYABLE...

jk.

I want him now.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

I rather they focus on the customization than the story.

Also, when I meant how the glider can block your view, I meant if you're using it all the time. Since the glider is directly above your head in the screen, which is also where the road is, that means it will block your view if you're driving on the road with it on.

Doesn't Rare own King K. Rool?

Nope.

Also, your signature is waaaaay to large.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

You know that wuhu island track, do you think that track will not be in the final version because I have not seen it anywhere in the recent news about this game.

Why would they talk about the tracks if they barely mention anything about the game in the first place?

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Either way, I went to GameStop yesterday and they replayed all the E3 trailers, and I was happy when they played the Luigis Mansion 2 one.

Still too big?

Oh, and thanks for clearing that up with me, I always thought King K. Rool was owned by Rare

It's probably unconfirmed

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

all this awesomeness is kind of starting to tick me off.. by the time I put together enough money to get all the awesomeness I want, (3DS, super mario, paper mario, luigi's mansion, mario kart, smash bros... HOLY CRAP!) nintendo's gonna just go and unload a big steaming pile of Wii-U on top of us.. STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

but more on topic, the game looks very original, and that's good, because I was getting bored of the same 'ol mario kart.. (Either I was too dang good at it, or I always got lucky and wound up with incompetent opponents.. Last time I checked I actually have won more races than I've lost on MKDS and MKWii Wi-fi.. it was getting ridiculous)
A new type of challenge is exactly what I need to keep me interested in the MK madness.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

You can not win by a mile in 150CC MKW, you can not be too dang good at it, when you say this, do you only play 50CC

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

actually, I always play 150cc unless I just got the game and I want the unlockables ;)
If it weren't for some TERRIBLE luck when it comes to my opponents getting items, I'd win 95% of the time in 1P 150cc (there are a couple tracks I have trouble with)
Actually, in my last 150cc 1P, I went 32 races, random order, always different. with about 8-10 races to go, I was so far ahead I only needed a few points to lock up 1st place, so I just goofed around and tried to help some of the lower-placed racers by constantly attacking the racers near them in the standings.

I dont play much wi-fi (don't have wireless here) but I once played MKWii on wifi at a friend's house and won (ABOUT, I dont remember the exact # of races, only my # of losses) 9 races out of 11, boosting his VR from 4500 to 5300 in the process, and the other two I wound up in 2nd and 3rd.

There is wireless at a relative's house, so I play MKDS there sometimes. I have a 42-24 record on MKDS wi-fi. in about 10 different cases either my skill or my opponents' skill has driven off at least one racer (a couple times, 2 of them, and once I actually drove off ALL my opponents by the end of the 4th race)

In the case of both DS and Wii, I cannot attest to my opponent's competence, as I don't remember their records (or VR's, in the case of Wii).. Sometimes I wind up with one that pounds me silly, but only once have I failed to win at least one race out of the 4 on DS, and that time 2 of my opponents had at least 1 star ratings, and I think one was 2 or 3 star.
I WILL NOT say that I am the best by any means, but what I can say is that I am starting to get pretty bored with the kind of races I have been playing.

In the signature rules (If I remember correctly) The height has to be under 250 pixels. I think it's actually harder to find someone who doesn't have a signature higher than 250 pixels.

I don't know If I said this earlier, but I really hope they make customization more advanced, than just the general details of it.

Or... You could just say that you usually win more than lose and save us the time to read all that. I win alot, there are still ALOT of challenges though, and the feeling of beating someone that is extremely good at the game by a couple of milliseconds is just awesome. Plus, About all the games coming out and struggling with money, Some games wont be coming out for a while, and Christmas is coming up too (Thats if you celebrate Christmas)

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

The speed looks slow in the trailer...hope that's only 50cc. Mario Kart Wii was a little slow paced for me
