Well it is difficult to watch both screens at the same time. The touch screen, after all, can warn you, whenever a Red Shell or a Spiny Shell is on your tail.

yeah, but you can save yourself from getting hit by it if you watch the touch screen

you see someone just got a spiny shell,
then you quickly go behind the 2nd place person (unless if your a long ways away)

same with the red shells,
if your in front of the person who has a red shell,
wait until they have it behind their kart ready to fire,
then get right behind them (of course, to the left or right of them)


which, with my experience (i unlocked all the characters, and beat every cup in 1st place except mirror on sunday)
it has helped me by hiding behind others,
then they get hit and i take a big lead
just like in MarioKartWii i'm miles in front of the 2nd place person most of the time so when they get red/spiny shells,
i got no protection :(
 
i like that combination ALCL, :)

my main combination is

Character: Rosalina
Kart: Blue Seven
Tires: Slick
Glider: Swooper
 
ShyGuy+Pipe Frame+normal wheels+normal gilder

I found out that I can get hit by spiny shell while I'm blasted off a cannon in Waluigi pinball and maple treeway
 
I use Rosalina, Royal ribbon, gold tires and peach parasol.
I wanna unlock the swooper and use that instead as it looks badass.

i have the Swooper, but not the Peach Parasol :???:

i gotta re-read how to get this stuff xD
 
You have no idea how much I love MK7's Rainbow Road music. It directly remixes for at least part of it my favorite Mario Kart Rainbow Road song (The one from Mario Kart 64). And it's absolutely glorius

 
For the most part, the music in the new tracks is great, 'cept for Daisy Hills and the Battle Mode music. Rock Rock Mountain for me is the best song in the game.

More Mario games need electric guitar.

If it were me, I'd probably switch the Gold Tires for the Roller tires, and swap the Peach Parasol for the Paraglider (even though they both offer the same stat boosts). At least that way, Rosalina can get the best possible acceleration (4/6) and handling (5/6) for her weight class. Speed (2.5/6) and weight (2.25/6) do take a topple, but they'll be better than what the lighter characters would end up with. The off-road (2.25/6) is not so important when handling is the primary game.

i use it on battle with the (sorry, can't remember the name at this time)
Flower tires,

and Rosalina cause her pipe frame's color goes with it so well :)
 
I got the game from my Grandma, but I don't think I'll play it for a while...

Addicted to Pokemon at the moment.
