Mario Kart 7

Lol, I used royal ribbon, roller, superglider with peach before I got anything else. But Royal ribbon has grown on me.

Which character do you use?

My combo for now is: Yoshi + Soda Jet or Barrel Train + Mushroom Wheels + Ghastly Glider
 
I'm in an Online Room as of making this post

Edit: Finished 1st race so far so good Finished 2nd wasn't good :( 3 finished and this one was on SNES Rainbow Road :)
 
My personal winning combo is Shy Guy or Koopa Troopa in the Zucchini, with Monster tires, and the Super Glider.
 
For racing, my used car is Toad on the Bruiser, Monster, and Super Glider

For battling, I use Toad on the Soda Jet in Roller wheels. Acceleration really helped me get 21 points :D
 
So yeah, I haven't had a chance to play this much yet, since I've been at Legoland most of today, but I played it for about an hour yesterday. Amazing game; loving the customizable karts. And those hang gliders... hoo boy, those are fun.

I especially like using the gliders in first person mode.
 
I haven't played battle yet. So far I have beaten evrything on 50 and 100cc. I have one 150cc gold trophy on the shell cup. Also, am I the only one who is angry about there being no single player Vs. mode?

No you're not. Many people are angry about it, even me, but I got over it.
 
I'm on shell cup in Mirror and I have 3 stars on everything. It seems like all I have to do to get them is get 1st in all 4 races.

Go with standard or Red Monster. They work for me.

Well I don't have the game yet, so I'm basically going by the stats that I've gathered from my stat viewer PHP script.

But I'll probably get the most out of the Red Monster, Roller, Slim, and Wood tires. The Monster tires are not as friendly with the acceleration as the Red Monster tires, which is why I excluded them.

No, the game still rates you on your driving style, just more lenient than the previous Mario Kart games
