Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I hope the Mansions will have Diffrent themes.

^ Yup, here's a snow themed one. I guess there is a lot of variety within the mansions.

Also, looks like Toad's got a big role here too. :toad:

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

^Yeah, but it is a big improvement over Toad's original role in Luigi's Mansion. I wonder what Toad will do while following Luigi.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

What I don't like is that the graphics look worse than the Gamecube version, and I really liked the original graphics. This just looks weird...

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I'm sure that it will look better on the actual 3DS (instead of minimized screenshots on the web). Besides, when does good graphics equal a good game? :P

spoken like a true nintendo fan , yes its not about the graphics.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I think Luigi looks much better in this game. He was... exaggerated in the Gamecube version.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

^That's for sure. He looks a bit more confident in this game (the first one had him with a frightened expression even when standing still). In this game, he looks curious.

However, it doesn't seem like all of his fears are gone.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Luigi looks more sane in this game. His mouth isn't so huge like in the last game.

I like it how Toad seems as if he's following Luigi. I hope Toad can play a bigger role, because he needs it.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Time to throw in my two cents...plotwise, I'm hoping King Boo captures Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Daisy and everytime you defeat a Boss Ghost, you save one of them (assuming there are 4 boss ghosts like last time and with King Boo guarding Mario again). Better yet, have the heroes get possessed by Boos and have them be the bosses and when defeated, they turn back to normal. Interesting idea if I do say so myself.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

^ Interesting and cool idea, actually.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Thanks. Oh, as far as enemies go, I want more than just ghosts this time. Fighting other monsters would be nice like vampires or werewolves with Magikoopas and Dry Bones thrown in. Maybe have ghosts of deceased enemies. The mummy shown in the trailer was a nice start.

Very true. I guess Luigi's past few adventures toughened him up a bit, huh?

Also I can't agree with you anymore for the point about Toad. He really needs a bigger role in a new game.

Also good idea Raphael. That might just work (I especially like the part of what you said of the characters being possessed and having to fight Luigi. Imagine trying to rip the ghosts out of the bodies of the heroes with the Poltergust!). However, I am not sure if Nintendo will throw in all of the characters like that (though they are getting more unpredictable these days).

Also more enemies would be nice. Dry Bones would fit perfectly in that tomb like area we saw the mummy (hope they kept it in the final version of the game). Though, how would Luigi beat these living enemies? That's just my question since he's equipped with the vacuum only.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Thanks, Propellor Toad. And yeah, Nintendo's been getting kind of unpredictable these days. Ever since they brought the koopalings back in 3D alongside Bowser Jr. in NSMBWii, I've been getting a few good ideas. And ever since I found out that Boom Boom's returning in Super Mario 3D Land (or whatever it's called), I've been filled with joy.

*crosses fingers for a Mario RPG featuring all 8 main characters playable*

That one kinda looks weird. Also does anyone know why E.Gadd just teleports Luigi to the Mansion?

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

Maybe there is a hub.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2

I believe that the information concerning why E Gadd sent Luigi to the Mansion has still yet to be released. For all we know, it could just be investigations of more Mansions and E Gadd selected Luigi to be the guy to investigade. Otherwise, Mario is missing once again, and Luigi is needed for the rescue.

Of course, Nintendo can totally overthrow the tables, and put something more unpredictable into the plot (this is not the average Mario game).
