Because they serve absolutely no purpose other than to show how many posts a person has. ._.

Which is what the post count is for.

Besides, I think it can be set at most, for membergroups to replace Post Count title (such as instead of me having my post count title, I have "Wiki Patroller").
 
I still think we should get rid of rankings. (Or at least have the ability for the custom title to replace it)

I'm currently working on thinking up the names. I'm probabilly going to use all the main characters with stuff like Fire Mario/Luigi added in if they'll fit.

Alright. Could we also have some from the DK, Yoshi, and Wario series? Probably not as many, but it would still be nice.

I was going to incluse DK, Yoshi, and Wario anyway since they're main characters. Good idea though. I'll be sure to include them.

Would this count towards the actual membergroups (such as Core 'Shroom Staff)? Or just the post count groups?
 
Is there a way for that sort of stuff to be optional for each user? Those who want it can have it on, and those who don't can turn it off.
 
I think we might have to install something for that. We have limitations, you know.
 
I think it's display.template.php, find the part where posts are generated and put an if else statement before custom titles and ranks, then you can just allow whatever that condition was to be changed by the user in the profile.
 
Adding MORE post-based ranks isn't necessary. The ones we have now are fine, (and they should end at 1,000, IMO.)

What about my suggestion to make it so that the custom title can override the post-based ranking?

Hey, that's what I said too.


I think keeping Giga Bowser and Chatty Cathy are fine though. (I think those were the rankings after 1000)

No, just keep it the way it is. There's no point in changing anything.
 
Not to mention no one has even reached 10,000 yet.

I think that's enough suggesting for now Ralph. Stoob already gave you an answer.
