Well, if you can come up with more enemy names to add to the rank, then it could work. I suggest that the rankings change every 500, though. That will add plenty of post ranks to the scene.
 
Good idea. Though, I wasn't thinking of just using enemies' names. I was thinking of adding other main characters since Bowser's already in there. The rank will change every 500 posts starting after 1000, and Mega Mario would replace Chatty Cathy as the 10000 posts rank.

Sounds good to me.

Also, could we perhaps include Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Wario characters (like I think the post rankings did at one point)? It could make for so many more post rankings.

But while we're at it, make 14,000 posts "MBD" rank

Also, we definitely need to make Poochy the highest ranking </in_joke>

Well, I guess that may be a side-effect, but rankings normally do that. I only want to change the rankings up because they seem a little unbalanced.
 
It's normal for rankings to be spread at wider intervals at higher levels.

Similarly, in RPG games, it takes 10 exp to get to level 2 but 3000 to get from level 99 to level 100.
 
Maybe every 100 from 1,000-2,000 and then every 250 from 2,000-5,000. At first, intervals of 50, but then an instant jump to thousands of posts between rankings isn't right.

Just having it from 1000-2000 as changing every 200 seems inconsistent to me. Every 500 seems reasonable to me.
 
I'd rather have just every 500. Anyway, I haven't seen Stoob in days, so I guess he must be studying/taking some important test or something. Without Stoob, I'm not exactly sure how to know when I'm approved to change the ranks.
 
Why do we need more ranks?
All they do is clutter up the profile section on posts.

IMO, they should disappear after 1000 posts.
 
They're just to even everything out on the ranks, basically it's just a small thing. We probabilly aren't going to add anymore stars, so I doubt the profiles will be any more "cluttered".

I saw him on the UP Forum, but he only made 1 post and was off.

By the way, what are you going to call these new ranks? Just curious.

I agree with NG here. It probably won't add much more to the profiles.

Right now, with a custom title, I have five lines above my avatar, including the name of a character that everyone hates.
That is cluttered. That's why I don't have a custom title; it doesn't replace the non-custom one.
 
It used to be that the custom title was "unlocked" at 1000 posts to replace the Mario-themed titles.
 
I think he must have had a final. Anyway, I convinced Porple to allow everyone to have a custom title.

I'm currently working on thinking up the names. I'm probabilly going to use all the main characters with stuff like Fire Mario/Luigi added in if they'll fit.

Alright. Could we also have some from the DK, Yoshi, and Wario series? Probably not as many, but it would still be nice.
