1. We were right about you not being much of a fan proven because you dropped it quickly and
2. The problem wasn't with you taking Rose, it was when you took Smasher Dave that it got confusing. The problem was people changing to names that had been taken before, not the people joining.

It's not meant to be offensive, it's just saying that you definitely seem like a "fair-weather fan" of Homestuck. And when we call you on it that you threaten hiatus.

If so, then I'm not Jack Noir anymore. Might switch back though in a year. Maybe.

No, there's no way I could change my name back to schmutz and still be a Homestuck fan. Nope, impossible.


The reason Homestuck isn't a big deal right now is because everyone is waiting for the Act 5 finale. There's nothing new to discuss.
 
Actually I was referring to the fact that Lily specifically stated that since the Homestuck fad was dying she was going to change.
 
I'm leaving the fad after 3.5 months. I might change my nickname back to ectoBiologist in the future, though. You never know.

Actually, I picked Jack Noir on purpose because of you and because I personally feel that Jack was a better villain when he was simply Jack Noir. He wasn't as powerful but he wasn't just this stupid killing machine who doesn't want to do anything except kill kill kill.

And to prove that I hadn't forgot about you, you joined right before I did in the "Hi I'm new here thread" which is why I knew you had the name. I wasn't trying to steal your name at all.

So that's how you can tell the difference.

Also I did mention somewhere else that you had Bec Noir but since you were more or less inactive I decided that it wouldn't be a big deal. Sorry if I offended you or something.
 
It tells you when an act ends, you might still be in act one is you havent gone past the 'end of act 1' page, Im in act 3.

Welcome to the Homestuck fans!

Don't get discouraged if it seems boring at first, it just keeps building until eventually you get to Act 5 Part 2 which is super plot-driven and awesome.

Also this is a good time to join because Hussie is stuck on making a Flash, if you hurry you can catch up to the rest of us.
 
By the end of Act 1, the kids and the trolls (who you have yet to meet) are wrapped up in a huge adventure spanning two universes, all of SBURB, and the exiles. You may or may not have met Wayward Vagabond yet, but he's only the first of the exiles.
