Ok, I like where free! is going now, I was worried it would go down a certain route which I was dreading, but the newest episode debunked that entire theory.
Rin and Haru both got scouted to go pro, Rin will take the chance, and Haru is unsure/doesn't want to, which will create tension of course (I honestly think Haru will end up going with Rin, but his lack of caring/wanting to decline will be a big tension point between them)
hey, this was all stuff I put in my theory for how free! eternal summer would turn out, lily was right, once again.
also, there is a really hot guy in the next ep

watched first two eps of k-on, it's pretty fuckin hilarious and Mio is my favorite character so far

i'm on episode 25, i haven't been very motivated to finish it.
 
was going to start K-On! but Rin (I know some of you remember her) started The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya so now we're both watching that
 
Finally watched FLCL. It blew me away. The atmosphere, soundtrack, surrealism, it all resonated with me really, really well. At the moment it's my third favorite anime.
 
Watched an ep of K-On! for the first time. The visuals are appealing and the soundtrack is awesome, but I was put off by the moeness. Especially Yui. Yeesh.

Overall, I think I'm going to continue, if only for some of the humor and music. The characters are pretty archetypal, ya know? Not exactly my cuppa tea.
