I love how so many of my s2 wants are happening tho, I wanted captain Rin to happen, and it did, I wanted Sousuke to be in it, and he is, I wanted Rin to teach Rei how to swim properly to repay him, and he did. I even jokingly said, 'scenes with rin with a ponytail' and:

I started watching Free! today. I watched the first two episodes (would have been at least 3, but my Internet was being so uncooperative that I ragequitted), and so far I am liking it. And I am pretty sure it will only get better.
So I finally started watched Galaxy Express 999.
Damn I'm enjoying this so far. Only two episodes in, 111 to go. But then I'd need to watch the movies: Galaxy Express 999 (which is just a condensed version of the events of the show into a movie, but it came out before the series concluded airing, so I guess I'll still watch for differences from movie ending and TV show ending), Adieu Galaxy Express 999 (already seen tho), Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy.
THEN I guess I'll have to watch the Maetel Legend OVA cause that's a prequel to GE999.
Oh and the 13 episode, I believe, Space Symphony Maetel anime, cause that's a sequel to Maetel Legend.
Agh.

Plus season 2 has already made me cry multiple times, and its not even halfway through yet ;-;. Episode 3 is my favourite es ep so far.

I hope to watch at least 2-3 episodes a day so I can get done with season 1 and catch up with season 2, so I can watch them on a weekly basis then.

Aldnoah.Zero has been pretty great so far. Some people are turned off by the not giving a fuck protagonist but I like him, it's a nice change from the whiny bitch protagonist that I feel like I've been running across a lot lately. The soundtrack alone is god-tier. Shingeki and Kill la Kill weren't just flukes, Hiroyuki is music jesus and all the non-believers will be burned.

So after watching five episodes of Free!, I can confirm that Rei is definitely my favorite character. Like, he's all intelligent and muscular which is the perfect combo. And is so attractive with those glasses and his hair.
And the fact that he can't swim at first makes him soooooo adorkable.
Also, totally called that he will be the Butterfly person of the Relay as soon as it was mentioned that not many people want the Butterfly.. There were so many hints to it after that too.

You will grow to love Rei even more towards the end of s1 and more so in s2 (not saying anything too detailed, but there is one ep in s2 in which you will see a huge change based around his swimming). I wasn't a huge fan of him at first, but by the end of the series he was my third favourite character after my two husbands (Haru and Rin)

Watched all eps of Free! S2 except the latest because Crunchyroll wouldn't let me and I was too lazy to hunt around for it.

Started watching Lucky Star. The first eps are kinda weird and boring but after the change of directors iit's really funny. Hi, I'm just catching up to 7 years ago.
Um, saw a few eps of Clannad and have already cried like a baby. I'm not even halfway through the first season and it supposedly isn't meant to get too emotional until the second so yeah. I'm sensitive okay.
I finished Neon Genesis Evangelion. The ending was kind of strange, though I hear End of Evangelion is the real ending.
It was an interesting show to watch, the moments where they would stay the same frame for almost 40 seconds in complete silence just to sort of make you wait were hilarious. I don't think it was the best thing I've ever watched but it was good.
Aldnoah Zero is a nice show, almost like a popcorn show where you don't need to think too hard about it to enjoy it. Just watch the MC give no fucks and ask for his pyjamas, the ones with the patches.
