I finished No Game No Life. I really enjoyed it, a lot. I just loved how they make them sound so beatable when it's obvious they will never be beaten because they were designed to be OP motherfuckers. It's just interesting to see what bullshit and/or outrageous reasoning will make them win the game. Yes it did have fuck tons of fanservice and I think there was always a bath scene with some sort of stupid event happening after every game that lasted longer than one episode.

I really hope they make a season 2, the cliffhanger they ended on was glorious and I want to see more of everything this show offers. They only covered 3 of the 6 books so they totally could and they totally should.

I wanted to see how much it sold so far but instead I found that Love Live 2 has sold 82k... for its first volume... which is way higher than the 29k it sold all up for its first season. I need to watch it soon.

Mekakucity Actors is garbage, don't watch it. I sort of dragged myself through that one because I liked the manga.

I finished Hitsugi no Chaika too, now I wait for Hitsugi no Chaika 2. I think it's scheduled for some time this year. This show was pretty simple but I liked it nonetheless, sometimes I don't need flashy or thought-provoking anime to have a good time.

Once I finish off a few things I might try watching Psycho-Pass, apparently it is pretty great. I also need to watch NGE and Code Geass at some point.

honestly the only mecha series I like is the Macross series and Evanjellopudding.

(and i'd also say transformers but the transformers anime were all either mediocre or just plain bad and i don't know if that counts as mecha, i personally don't consider it)

yeah instasynch is cool for watching things together, only problem is that it only streams from certain sites, like youtube, vimeo, dailmotion, etc. etc. so we'd have to try and find it on one of those sites i guess

So, Soul Eater Not! just ended and all I can say is....."that's it?"

I mean seriously....was that really the end? It kinda sucked, to be honest.

The fight with Shaula was underwhelming and it only lasted like a minute before she was killed. When they presented Shaula's soul to the school, nobody even made a big deal. It's like "hooray you killed the evil witch that was destroying the entire town, congrats, here's my thanks". Everything seemed to be crammed into that one episode too. I was expecting it to be at least 20 episodes, but not 12. I was also hoping that, this being a prequel, it have gone into the other characters' backstories too. It only went into Kim and Jackie's, and I guess Liz and Patty's, but that's it. Also, the opening had Clay and Akane next to Shaula, and I thought that that was going to be a thing where Akane and Clay become evil and it went nowhere. Also, how come Sid dies, yet he comes back to life in Soul Eater, only to be murdered again. It seems odd.

Overall, the ending disappointed me, but otherwise, it was a good anime.
