The Official AH NEE MAY Topic

Finished cowboy bebop yesterday. very interesting watch.

Watched Evangelion 1.11 You are (not) alone

I don't know the original anime but this was pretty amazing

even with german dub

Someone made a huge beginner's recommendation flowchart

Some of these made me laugh, 'forced drama' -> Kokoro Connect. savage.

I don't know how useful it'll be or if it's just good for a laugh but he golded Shirobako so I'm inclined to agree with what this person says. Here's the easy to follow version.

WELL. I knew it was about zombies but I didn't expect that to be the reveal, moe pink hair girl is literally delusional. It explains why Shovel Knight had her shovel out, why that hallway was boarded up with chairs and why some things just felt... odd. Like that grave on the roof, having someone go with her to get her backpack and why it already said school survival club.

Good job people who made this, I knew what was coming and I was still fairly shocked. and a little impressed. I kind of want to re-watch it and see what other hints there.

Working s3 is good. Classroom Crisis is meh, Charlotte could be good (first ep was good, second was okay), Gakkou Gurashi maybe (only seen one episode but idk where it's going from there), Himouto Umaru-chan is okay but the comedy is kind of hit or miss.

God Eater might be worth a shot, all I know about it is that ufotable is animating it.

Saw Spirited Away at anime club yesterday. It was pretty neat.

Also, my sister's friend drew Necoconeco, but she colored it wrong and it looked incredibly creepy.

Speaking of Azu, four episodes left. This is looking to be my new favorite cartoon (sorry, Groening).

it still looks alright. not particularly good but not on a dragonball-esque level of shittyness either.

I watched Evangelion 3.33: You can (not) redo

14 years passed since the second movie and this

i was already like ugh theres more stuff they could explain probably but they wont

as expected.

tbhhhhhhhhhh this movie felt like it was way shorter than the second one and not much progression in the plot is actually made. kinda wasted opportunity tbh :/ could give more detailed thoughts later.

I saw Corpse Party Tortured Souls

If you never heard of this anime, I'd suggest that unless you're used to this...don't watch it because...well...let's just say this makes 127 Hours feel like watching Care Bears. The only difference between Corpse Party and 127 Hours is well...I cared while watching 127 Hours.

Finally did it. I watched Azumanga Daioh in its entirety. After that last episode, I wish Osaka had a tissue box for me.

That was the best cartoon show I've ever seen, beating out both The Simpsons and Futurama.

Really my only complaint is that Kaorin's story ended on a pretty anti-climatic note, although I'm not really sure what I was expecting, so I'll let that slide.

In conclusion, thanks Geibuchan for introducing me to Azumanga through your YouTube Poops, and thank you Kiyohiko Azuma for the laughs and tears.

Recently I have been in such an anime watching mood holy cow.

As for this seasons anime, the only thing I picked up was Gangsta, which I am enjoying, and I also picked up the first two volumes of the manga which go into more depth of the characters (and change the order of certain scenes and stuff), but the anime is still good to and is something nice to watch which is airing.

Then recently I finished watching Big Windup!/Oofuri, it really is true about it horribly underrated. It is a shame that due to the time it aired it gained so litle traction, as if Big Windup! happened say, in 2013 (the same year as free!, yowamushi pedal and daiya no ace started) it would have gotten so much more love. It should have had a third season and its a shame it never got one, and the characters are all sweet and likable. Like while even I found Mihashi pretty annoying at first, by the end of the second season I found myself calling him 'my son'

I also have watched most of Gurren Lagann, while I wasn't sure if I would like it, I am addicted. A friend of mine recced it as it is her fave anime and since I know I can trust that friend with anime recs, I decided to give it a bash I am not used to watching mecha but it is really good and my favourite characters are Kamina, Viral and Yoko. I am probably going to finish it off in the next few days when I get the time.

Oh yes, and I am now FINALLY nearly 100 episodes through prince of tennis, it is a shame the quality of the show is inconsistent depending on the arc, which can affect my motivation to watch. Like slap bang between the really good and interesting Hyotei and Rokkaku arcs was that one arc with that weird team where everyone on it looks like they belonged in yugioh (THAT IS EARLY 2000'S ANIME AFTER ALL), but at least it is interesting now, and I am asuming the finals will be against the guy with the seaweed hair who has the same voice actor as Yuusuke Makishima and his team, it's that or a rematch against Fudomine. I guess the fact I still have another 80 odd episodes to go implies there will be a lot of filler and build up to that though.

I'm watching Gakkou Gurashi and Working!!! this season. I started watching Charlotte, Classroom Crisis and Himouto! Umaru-chan but none of them are that great.

I'm still watching Shokugeki no Souma from last season. There's also God Eater but idk what happened with that or whether I even want to watch it any more.

Finished gurren lagann
I really enjoyed it as a whole and the final battle was fucking epic, and the ending gave me many feels, I really enjoyed it and it is easily somewhere in about my top 20 animes tbh
My only irritatation was the fanservice did get annoying at times, like most the time it was tolerable but at times it did begin to get irritating, but then again I guess there was some fanservicy scenes which went the other way (kamina in the hotspring, simon and viral fighting in the prison changing room wearing not a lot)
Overall, a great show and I did really enjoy it as a whole.

Next up I am going to start that one with the male idols as I need some mindless eyecandy shit and I already am thirsty for Ren from it, then after that I am watching that 10 episode yaoi anime which I can watch in a single sitting probably and then Gundam 00 after that (two people have told me that I am going to adore Lockon)

i started reading nicos diary a few days ago, im on chapter 3 now
i really hate reading and mangas/light novels just arent my thing but this caught my eye
its really good but thats probably my bias towards nico <3
its just a collection of stories from her point of view and theyre pretty funny/great

each of the ll idols has a diary but ive only found nicos so far
i think i found an incomplete one and gave it to crackin but i didnt check it thoroughly so _

I started Rokka no Yuusha. I wasn't really sure about it at first since sometimes the animation is crummy and Nashetania was annoying but it took a good turn. I think there was a whole episode of basically just talking but I was really into it. I was expecting some sort of average adventure show, not a mystery one. It really did throw me off but I'm glad I stuck through until episode 5.

I finished the first season of utapri
The plot wasn't really much, but I did like the characters a lot (especially Ren and Masoto)
I liked the music and was pretty impressed that every episode had at least one song in it, even if some of the songs were repeats/quite short, and I loved the fact the full ending played in the final episode (I usually skip endings, but 'serious love 1000%' is one of the few endings I watched everytime)
I am going to start the second season tomorrow, and apparently in the second season we get to see more of this cute meme:
tumblr_nt4rx4asfg1ud13i9o1_400.png
Plus the fact I enjoyed it on the whole means that I will hopefully enjoy love live when I get around to it as for ages I was super reluctant to watch it due to the fact I found K-on underwhelming/not my cup of tea, but I have been convinced because of the love live app and I have heard love live has a good amount of music in it.

I have been watching Wakaba Girl and the 2nd season of Non Non Biyori. Both anime's are great to watch and the CUTENESS :3

I'm watching Elfin Lied

Other than the voice acting, I'm really liking it so far. Only thing that brings it down is the stupid bullshit corrupt government agency. If they were to take that out and mainly focus on Lucy getting over her problems, and the relationships with her and Kohta, it would have been a perfect anime.
