Light Blue Yoshi.

What region?

Not sure if it's available in all regions, but it works for me (NA 3DS).

Good. I got the thing right away. It is indeed NTSC

All QR Codes for Mario Tennis Open are Region Locked.
In this sense, it can be, JAP, USA, or PAL (EUR + AUS).

I had known that because Mario Party Legacy listed QR codes for separate regions

It sucks, really. I would like to get all the Yoshis in one go.

It even more sucks, because of the fact, that I can't play online with most of you, because of Region Lock.
It even more sucks, because of the fact, I can't play online at all, because of IP Lock (I have a Japanese copy).

I realized that Mario Party Legacy has a Update at the top saying if any new yoshi's were added. I was just scrolling through before like an idiot.

Care to explain any reasons Nintendo felt the need to region lock our games?

Other than preventing lags and piracy, I don't know any reason.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT..

Quick question, if i were to play online in Belize with an American copy could i play? Well its in the same region right?

You should be able to play. NOA has jurisdiction over both American continents.

Yeah, it's called "Nintendo of America", not "Nintendo of NORTH America"

Nintendo of Japan only serves Japan (and maybe Korea?).
Nintendo of America serves both American continents.
Nintendo of Europe serves the European Union, UK, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey, and South-Africa.
Nintendo of Australia serves Australia and New-Zealand.

Note, that Australia and Europe are compatible with each other, in most, if not, all cases.

Now for some reason, I want the 2 other colored Yoshis

I'd say completionist. Possibly because you can't really 'hurt' your opponent in this game. Just win against them.

Actually, yes you can "hurt" them by pegging them with the tennis ball

BTW, it's for both reasons: to beat up and be a completionist

Yes, but that's not exactly easy to do. Because they do this thing called hitting the ball back.

I did say 'can't really', I was referring to that anyway.

Um, it's super easy to do it when you're facing novice computers in the right court. I won an entire game just by service aces and smacking them.
