That's the NA QR code for Black Yoshi.

Do you get those little papers free? Just wondering even though I will never get one.

It seems there WILL be only 7/8 yoshies, 8 if you include the green one..

Because of the Mii outfits we can speculate the characters will be:

- Either Mario's Powered up Forms.
- Birdo
- Goomba
- Petey Piranha
- Toad
- Wiggler
- Koopa Troopa
- Shy Guy

The lesser likely ones (these only have accesories but not costumes):

- Chain Chomp (likely false)
- Thwomp (likely false)
- Bob-omb (likely false)
- Bullet Bill (likely false)
- Blooper
- Cheep Cheep (likely false)
- Lakitu
- Hammer Bro.
- Magikoopa

Yes, but that's not exactly easy to do. Because they do this thing called hitting the ball back.

I did say 'can't really', I was referring to that anyway.

Um, it's super easy to do it when you're facing novice computers in the right court. I won an entire game just by service aces and smacking them.

Yes, novices. The ones that are super easy and uninteresting.

I still have the ability to do it, don't I?

Yes but they aren't very interesting to go against.

Eh, whatever, to each their own.

Have you beat a Star Ace yet?

No, I don't think I'm good enough to even attempt it yet.

Just in case you misunderstood me, I meant novice opponents are uninteresting, not all of them.

So at least you beat a nonstarred Ace yet? I have beat both an Ace and a Starred Ace, BTW.

I think novice computers are amusing to play against, especially in Doubles where they are paired with an Ace computer.

I haven't really attempted anything other than tournaments so far, so I can't say if I am able to beat one or not.

I haven't played it in a while, I must've played it too much and got bored too quickly. Usually if I play game too much in a 3 day time period, I get bored of it and can't make myself play it.

Really? I got occupied with it. I basically unlocked most suits. The only suits I did not unlock are the ones where online play is required

I didn't bother with the suits, I wanted the Mii customization items, not the suits.

Oh, and I got bored and got Bowser starred. Yay, now every bodies starred.

Not trying to act like this makes me any better or anything but, when I saw his racket I kind of expected this.

They put in the colored Yoshi's clothes and stuff, so I thought that maybe other things might have characters to go with them soon. The other Mario rackets all had a corresponding suit but this one didn't. I don't remember but did any other rackets not have corresponding suits/gear?

Don't like Metal Mario, but I'll still get him.

So, where are the other Yoshi codes, cause I missed some. If someone could post them here (the North America ones) it'd be appreciated!

I dont have anybody to play it with so I can't do any multiplayer stuff.

EDIT: Got Blue Yoshi, apparently it was released in the Official Nintendo Magazine for PAL. Use this: http://mariopartylegacy.com/2012/06/mario-tennis-open-qr-character-guide/ if your looking for the codes, because it's all neat and organized.

Posted it earlier, but that goes to a place with qr codes.

I hope seeing Magikoopa, Hammer Bro., Birdo, Petey Piranha, Wiggler in this game.

Magikoopa and Hammer Bro have sets of gear.

Birdo and Petey have Suits.

Does Wiggler have a suit? Not sure.

I guess QR codes are just a trickier way to implement hidden goodies, compared to just getting the contents from the eShop.

Or they're to lazy to put it all on the Internet, so they give them to retailers and webmasters instead.

And the irony is, the latest Fire Emblem title has downloadable content in it. Now I don't really know how the 3DS's DLC is handled, but I would think that the DLC data would be stored onto your SD card (just like with Mario Kart 7's update).

Actually, you're correct.
