Well, the only real trick to making it appear Homestuck-ish is to make everything second-person. It's such a rare narration style that it automatically seems similar to the only other second-person narration you've ever read - which would be Homestuck.GLaDOS said:

Some things about her sprite were bugging me, so I changed them. I tried making the symbol red, but it looks sort of terrible with that blue dress, so I changed it back for now.
