Never speak Japanese again. You are absolutely wretched at it.

How about just never speak again? I'm sure we'd all much rather see Boozooka just stop posting.

I used Google translate, mkay? Since when did I even SAY THAT!? It's disgusting, and absolutely disgraceful.

Inspired by Boozooka's quality rundown of the Touhou series, I decided to do a TOP 10 of my favorite Pursuit Force installments!

except there are only two games. Neverthless, I'll do a review of the series!!!!

GAMEPLAY PLAYING: The series stars a cop who *put on sunglasses* PURSUE the enemy using reckless FORCE. YOu can drive cars and shoot things. There are objectives and sometimes they change, like, in one mission you have to shoot and kill enemies but then you have to not kill a car that is not an enemy It's very deep and creative. I think it's perfect.

RATING: 73/75

CHARACTER PERSONALITY: A very important aspect of every games, the Pursuit Force series features many likable and realistic characters such as Hard Balls, the evil black person, Lockjaw, the cannibal southerner who pilots an armed hovercraft and the Chief, who is a jerk. It is a great aspect of the series.

RATING: 7/7

STORY: The first game has no plot but the 2nd does and it's totally great!!! Like there are a gang of rival cops who act like evil jerks, and at the end, they turn out to be evil jerks!!

RATING: 10/20 (because the first has no plot)

MUSIC: Richard Jacques did a most radical McNasty work composing the songs and they are really good. I will post a top 42 lists when I'll have the time.

RATING: 33/35

FINAL rating: 98/100 (not an average)

In conclusion, Pursuit Force is a great series.

Online translators suck...if you can't translate something on your own, don't bother with it.

Combined two posts into one. There's an edit button for a reason.

I wasn't satisfied with my Top 50 Video Game Music Tracks. So to make it a little easier, I made it very specific, and am also lowering the number by a fair amount. However, in return, I'm lessening the amount per franchise from two to one. PBP is also completely inactive for this. So here we go, these next ones are what I consider to be THE TOP FORTY FINAL BOSS MUSIC TRACKS! (I actually mean FINAL bosses, so ones in the post-game are excluded.)

http://youtu.be/OE_l4qBKUuY

HEAVEN'S GOVERNOR, ETRIAN ODYSSEY II

Etrian Odyssey is a series I would recommend for the diehard RPG fans. You pretty much know the music'll rock. It's made by Atlus, after all. And you wanna know what else was made by Atlus? Take a guess. I'll tell you the answer later if you don't know. Too bad the actual final fight sucks...

THE BLACK JEWEL COMES OUT, WARIO WORLD

Wario World was odd. Insane foes, creepy bosses, music on drugs (DON'T SMOKE, KIDS!) and the (I believe) first appearance of what's basically the Wario Waft. The Black Jewel's music track is messed up, but still quite good. Too bad it's a repetitive boss. Also, why's it called The Black Jewel when it's a dark shade of purple? And if you say purple's the new black, I'll- *CENSORED DUE TO EXTREMELY VIOLENT THREATS*

UNTIL I RETURN TO YOUR SIDE, PANDORA'S TOWER

I know NOTHING about this game. I literally JUST learned about it. But I believe it's a pretty recent game, due to the music synthesision. (Not sure if that's a word.) Uh, yeah. But this is a pretty dramatic one.

37:

http://youtu.be/9yb7RfwXhxs

RIKISHI NO TENKAN TEN, SUZUMIYA HARUHI NO SHOUSHI TSU

The first of those that placed on the other list. This one was twentieth. It isn't exactly a final boss, because the game doesn't have any. But you are trying to make the right decisions to correctly fend off Asakura, so I guess you can consider it one, because it is the last part of the main game that you can win and lose. That's basically what a final boss is. Anyway, Rikishi No Tenkan Ten's chilling, haunting, and is just...unbelievable. But it doesn't loop! RAEG! That's the issue. It doesn't loop. Who knows what happens if you let this song play in the game, but I would assume it simply stops, and you have silence until you finally decide to move that lazy finger of yours. Ah yes. Shoushi tsu is one word, but the forum's automatic censor saw the letters S, H, I, and T in that order in the word, so it unnecessarily bleeped it out. So I spaced it.

FOUR PART PLAN, PORTAL 2

While not as amusing as GLaDOS, Wheatley is still an awesome boss. Especially when this techno music cranks up. Sadly, there were too many good choices on this list. So it's really low. The same fate befell it in the previous list, where it placed 48th.

35:

http://youtu.be/lS7_tcwsj4E

GANGPLANK GALLEON, DONKEY KONG COUNTRY

DKC is a game I personally liked mainly for the excellent graphics. It appeared something twice its bit level of 16. But it does have good music as well, like the final boss. A somewhat pirate-y start to the music, and then it becomes really upbeat.

34:

http://youtu.be/I0rM8vCkeEo

MERURE MERURE, LOCO ROCO

This track actually plays in the last level of Loco Roco, as the game has no bosses. But Loco Roco 2 does, and it does play for that game's last boss as well, so I can include it. It's haunting as well, more so than Rikishi, I would say. The Loco Roco actually look worried as they sing it. But this is a relatively short song before it loops. AND THE BATTLE IT PLAYS IN IN LOCO ROCO 2, THE BATTLE WITH GALANMAR, IS HARD AS ALL FU-

RAMIREZ PHASE 3, SKIES OF ARCADIA

A brilliant theme with a fantastic opening. This placed 34th last time. I would love to put this higher up the list, but...even though it's triumphant and very underrated, I don't exactly think it's the most fitting music for the situation you're in...

32:

http://youtu.be/aa0mfu5wZdw

IMBROGLIO, SHADOW HEARTS

Oh boy. This track was 45th last time. It's not the most impressive I've heard, but it's very fitting to the situation. Those bells are impeccable. And what the hell is that instrument playing while they rest!? Jeez...well, moving on, the music is very nice. Good music, good plot, good game.

31:

http://youtu.be/AhYtjpjOHTc

GRUNTILDA, BANJO-KAZOOIE

I personally find this track very overrated. It just didn't blow me away. However, it did knock me to the edge, and is still an excellent track overall. Three minutes long...jeez.

30:

http://youtu.be/1LhFpjWjSxA

WILY MACHINE, MEGAMAN 9

This is an awesome track, even for 8-bit! And just listen to that siren. Jeez...I really don't know what to say. Damn you Wily, damn you.

29:

http://youtu.be/AZ8tCEEg6A8

THE EVIL TWINS, CRASH TWINSANITY

From what I have heard, Crash Twinsanity is a very good game, albeit not well known, game. We mostly know about how much it FAILED when owned by Sierra. It's a little better with Activision, but that's besides the point. Just listen to this great but, from my perspective, pretty underwhelming music track for the final fight...

28:

http://youtu.be/9_HRYcdX9dY

BOSS BATTLE 2, SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL

This placed 37th last time. An excellent track for an excellent boss. Very upbeat, and hypes you up. The reason I put this low is because of how bad Story Mode is. The modes have NO change besides more difficulty. And it's so...linear for most of it.

27:

http://youtu.be/ucgh-qLI-ls

FINAL SHOWDOWN, TOY STORY 2

Toy Story 2 for the PS1 is actually a VERY GOOD GAME. Something you hear rather infrequently for movie games, eh? The Final Showdown of Buzz vs. The Prospector and two others is quite a good one. It's really quick, but excellent while it lasts, especially with this playing in the background. I can just imagine Buzz saying to himself, "Three against one? That's really unfair..."

*dons sunglasses*

...For you guys.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

http://youtu.be/Z6E7iAm68Ok

PRIMAL DIALGA, POKÉMON MYSTERY DUNGEON 2

This was seventeenth last time. And what is it doing at the bottom? I listened to it again and realized, it really isn't much. Listen closely. I only hear two instruments in the synthesision instead of the usual four! What's up with that!? But even still, this is a great theme. Also, as I said, I'M LOOKING FOR THE FINAL BOSSES OF THE MAIN STORY. The chapters end after Primal Dialga.

25:

http://youtu.be/gvLK8777kGA

SOLARIS PHASE TWO, SONIC 2006

This was fortieth last time. The main thing I love about the track is the opening. An instrumental on what I consider to be the Sonic theme, which is His World, the developers at least got this right. They also got the rest of the music, the graphics, and the main quests right. The side quests, story, controls, and gameplay...no comment.

24:

http://youtu.be/7JFGZKU7xwE

HEAVY METAL, HENRY HATSWORTH

Ah, a huge robot versus an English gentleman. How much more awesome can it get? His attacks are...oh, hold on one second. IT'S TEA TIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!

23:

http://youtu.be/9THf5QlXuyo

GIGA BABY BOWSER, YOSHI'S ISLAND

This music placed tenth on my last list. So why's it all the way down here? Because while the 3D aiming is very unique, the battle otherwise SUCKS! You basically know where to hit, his face, because of how much it sticks out, and the aiming system itself is kinda off. Also, his only real attack is shooting fire. YAWN, SO REPETITIVE, SKIP THE DETAILS. But really, this is still a good music track.

PROMISED PAIN, XENOSAGA EPISODE III: ALSO SPRACH ZARATHUSTRA (THUS SPOKE ZARATHUSTRA)

Xenosaga has a habit of naming their games' subtitle in German. Also Sprach Zarathustra is also the name of a book by Friedrich Nietzsche. I own an English copy of it, so I correctly know what it means. Moving on, the whole series is basically cutscenes, cutscenes, and more cutscenes, with a turn-based fight here and there. I can almost consider it a visual novel. But it has very beautiful music, especially the final fight in Xenosaga III.

21:

http://youtu.be/a6UhVn9XTIk

MUTATED EMPEROR ING, METROID PRIME 2

This track was 26th last time. It's just...very good. I didn't know the GCN could do music like that! Oh, whatever, just ignore and listen to the awesome techno beat.

20:

http://youtu.be/FMXr2hKIgMw

AWAKENING FROM XENOGEARS

The storyline in Xenogears is one I can easily compare to Xenosaga, which itself I can easily compare to Xenoblade. However, none are exactly in the same series. Anyway, Xenogears is a MASTERFUL game. Simply...just, masterful. It's ranked 5th on my all-time favorite games, a list I'll do for my birthday, which is January 23rd. The music that plays when you are fighting Deus is surprisingly not much compared to other tracks in the game, but is still very good, especially with the first four seconds.

19:

http://youtu.be/c47-Y-y_dqI

THE SEAL IS BROKEN, BLUE DRAGON

HOW COULD I FORGET THIS ON THE PREVIOUS ONE!? RAEEEEEEEEG! Choir and electric guitar is practically always awesome.

18:

http://youtu.be/BwpLSiplyYc

ZERO TWO, KIRBY 64

Again, I've put it a bit low on the list due to how complex the requirements to fighting Zero Two are. Last time, it was 32nd. But this is a true step away from the wild and wacky music that Kirby final bosses usually have. Zero Two can destroy everything, so this is a pretty large battle. And this is a DEMONIC, BLOOD CRYING, ONE-EYED, UH, THING WITH A FREAKING HALO AND A BANDAGE RIGHT BELOW! And I DON'T wanna know what that green thing at the bottom is...

17:

http://youtu.be/xpaJulksCik

LAVOS PHASE 4, CHRONO TRIGGER

This track drops from ninth to its current spot. It keeps a very nice beat to the symbolic battle with Lavos, who even adds in to the music with his cries. Damn you Lavos, you're worse than Wily.

16:

http://youtu.be/iJ3lPFMCKHo

U.B., PARASITE EVE

My respect for this music track has dropped a little. This was THIRD last time. I'm not exactly sure why, but I guess it's because of how overly generic it becomes when the chorus isn't playing. But it's still an impressive music track.

15:

http://youtu.be/86IxmklUgEM

GENERAL TOR, IJI

This placed twelfth last time. In case you don't know what Iji is, it's an Indie game with Super Metroid-like gameplay. Earth has been ravaged by alien attacks, and you play as a lady sent to convince the alien general to call off a final attack with apocalyptic results. But the general, Tor, isn't in the mood...

14:

http://youtu.be/DZunDlz89ao

OVAN, .HACK//GU

Pretty much speaks for itself. However, I'm very surprised that NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT THIS TRACK!

13:

http://youtu.be/Vk8MaVo5VpI

FINISH THE PROMISE, TALES OF THE ABYSS

This I'd say is the prime example why the Tales series is all but synonymous with extremely beautiful music. And this is THE FINAL FIGHT!

12:

http://youtu.be/kNFVJQO66Qk

DARKNESS OF THE UNKNOWN, KINGDOM HEARTS 2

This was only 31st on the previous list. I put this up higher so I don't get attacked by raging fanboys. I find this a track that more suits a death than a final battle, but it's still absolutely beautiful. I can't put it any other way.

11:

http://youtu.be/YLhURWp9AxQ

THE GREATEST JUBILEE, BAYONETTA

This is a very grand music track. The fight is epic, and this is extremely fitting music to the boss, who is a freaking GODDESS.

10:

http://youtu.be/v66p1JS2QXs

CARDIA STIGMA SECOND PHASE, TRAUMA CENTER: NEW BLOOD

This was runner-up last time. It's dropped a bit, but it's still the same exact awesome electric guitar song, with an epic piano riff. I guess the reason it's dropped is, well, WHAT IS THIS DOING IN A SURGERY GAME!? This game was also made by Atlus, but it is not the one I'm referring to...

9:

http://youtu.be/Y1x_udEq5YM

ROAR OF THE DEPARTED SOULS, LOST ODYSSEY

Holy sh*t. This is just...awesome. It took sixth last time. I believe it has lyrics that are being sung in Japanese. If someone could inform me of them, that would be greatly appreciated.

8:

http://youtu.be/Z2GHF8icAXI

GIANT BOWSER PHASE TWO, SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2

Mario Galaxy 2 was a disappointing game. Enough said. But like a lot of people, I anticipated a great final fight after the awesomeness that was the Galaxy Generator. Not so. But it has my favorite Mario music track EVER.

7:

http://youtu.be/40R_MQzEvJ8

VS. LUMINE - THE FIRST FORM, MEGAMAN X8

I consider Megaman and Megaman X different series. Anyway...that chorus is haunting beyond belief. Suitable for Lumine's feminine-like appearance.

6:

http://youtu.be/NcHUcXqSo34

DEMISE OF THE RITUAL, SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS

This track also sounds like a death. Well, good reason to. Wander had just lost his lone companion, Agro, who also happens to be his horse. So Wander is alone as he approaches Malus. That's when he starts thinking, "Did these wonderful Colossi deserve to perish?" This is an incredibly suitable theme for the moment.

5:

http://youtu.be/JbXVNKtmWnc

DANCING MAD PART FOUR, FINAL FANTASY VI

...Self explanatory. This is just a crazy theme, and pretty much wraps up Kefka's story. It's freaking beautiful, though. Can't make up my mind on whether it's beautiful or crazy...this was fourth last time, in case you're wondering.

4:

http://youtu.be/MR6PYrjEzcQ

WORLDEND DOMINATOR FROM UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI CHIRU

Another visual novel, eh? Yep. This plays during the big conflict between Maria and Rosa. Again, this is the last time you can actually lose, so it's pretty much the last boss. And an epic track it is. Just listen to those chimes ring...this was actually my top pick last time.

3:

http://youtu.be/FGUGAHTPcak

THE ALMIGHTY, PERSONA 4

THIS was the Atlus series I was talking about. Yeah, Atlus made Shin Megami Tensei Persona. An excellent series, with some excellent music, like The Almighty. It really pumps you up...

AWAKENING THE CHAOS FROM BLAZBLUE: CALAMITY TRIGGER

Guitar. Chorus. FIVE minutes. Wow. This is, by far, THE longest single video game music track EVER. And one of the best. But what topped it?...You probably know what series I'm talking about, mate.

Before we get to #1, we'll recap.

SEPTETTE FOR THE DEAD PRINCESS, TOUHOU VI: THE EMBODIMENT OF SCARLET DEVIL

You knew a Touhou track would be at #1. Thing is, which one. I selected Septette For The Dead Royal B*tch (some people, like me, say it's Dead Princess, some people say it's Dead Queen) for the top spot. It's a daunting theme for the dangerous (yet awfully childish) Mistress of Fate. An excellent piano riff, leading to a huge trumpet...I don't know what to say. So I'll stop here. I'm Tylor, and I have no sign-off line for this.

HAVE A FANTASTIC NEW YEAR, AND I WILL SEE YOU IN TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE!

I have another list coming on the 23rd. I've been very busy, so there hasn't been much from me recently. But it'll be my favorite games ever...

How about you just stop instead? Your countdowns are kind of awful.

Wow. Harsh. But er.... Kinda true.

Your top 50 are way way too long, nobody wants to read them if here that long. Your doing random subjects you specifically want to do but most people do subjects other people want, and they also keep it limited to 10 to keep it interesting.

For example, jontrons top 10 Mario kart and Mario party tracks/mini games.

There are tons of tracks in Mario kart so seeing his favorite ten is great, there are even more mini games in Mario party and seeing him choose out of so many is great. Not to mention his commentary is he funniest shit ever.

Or cjszero01 is an even better example. Even though most of his lists are in fact his own decisions, he is an amazing top 10 maker, as well as his reviews, thoughts and q&a's

In short, stop making written top 50's and maybe try making video top 10's? It would make me consider watching it. Hell, even written top 10's is better. Sorry for grammar, using iPad.

After a hiatus, I have returned. The video countdowns, as I said, begin in the summer, but for right now, I'm sticking to text. I've started work on that list, Top 12 Games I Like That You Have Probably Not Even Heard Of. Expected upload time will be in early July. (I'm really busy...and lazy.) This list is the Top Nine Fan And Freeware Games. There are no restrictions for this. However, I will only put ONE mainstream Touhou game on here. So let's get started.

9.

YUME NIKKI

Yume Nikki is a mix of a strategy game and a visual novel. It also has some RPG components. But it's quite a long game. There's just so much to do. It's also one of the most creative (and most weird) games out there. It's really that simple. Just so much to do. Matodsuki is a strange girl...where's her ACTUAL parents, anyway? Additionally, why she has such weird dreams, I have no f**king clue. Anyone have a theory to it?

8.

SUPER MARIO 63

Ah yes, Mario Sixty-Three...a sidescroller with Mario 64 objectives, but Shines instead of Stars. There are still a good amount of new stuff, like being able to use FLUDD, a wide variety of recent music, and Star Coins. This game, which is online, has sixty-four Shines, along with sixty-four Star Coins. This game also has a huge amount of stuff to do. It even has a level maker! How about that? I gotta say, a level editor is one of the best things an adventure game can have. So this is one of the best games I've played, so I highly recommend it.

7.

SUPER MARIO BROS. X

The popularity of this downloadable freeware game seems to have dropped a fair amount. But this game, which has multiple stories, is still very good. It crosses over SO many powerups from Mario games, Zelda 2, and Metroid, to the point of Link being playable. It also has a very complex level editor, which if you can get used to it, can be one of the most awesome features any Mario game has today. The only problem is finding it...

6.

TOUHOUMON

What do you get when you cross the famed RPG series Pokémon with Touhou? You get Touhoumon! This is a pretty insane hack game. It uses the Gen. III graphics and soundfont, but all the characters come from the Touhou Project. Uh huh...they even mix the music. For example, Victory Road is mixed with Septette For The Dead Princess, Gym Leader is mixed with UN Owen Was Her? (shoot me now), and Champion is mixed with Necrofantasia. Besides the mixed music and the characters, it's just Gen. III. There are several versions. The ones I know of are Reimu (FireRed), Merry (LeafGreen), Emerald (Emerald, duh), and Another World. Apparently, that last one was built from scratch...

5.

DESCENDANT OF TRUTH

Okay, so this is an RPG Maker 2000 game. I really can't say too much about it that hasn't been said already. But it's a good game, with a good soundtrack. And you know how much I LOVE RPGs! It takes about six to seven hours to finish, which isn't much compared to many more RPG Maker games. But for that period of time, it sure as hell is worth it. Who made it, I have no clue, but I would like to find out. So if you can find who, let me know. But there's one thing I find bizarre about it, and that's the title. Is there a game called ASCENDANT Of Truth? Not that I've heard of...

4.

YUME NIKKI GENSOU

Ah yeah, the RPG/sidescroller spinoff to the infamous visual novel sort of game. Slash and attack your way through the many insane, creative, and sometimes just plain creepy foes that Yume Nikki is well known for on your way to the game's end. And yes, some classic powers and forms have returned, so have fun with them. I actually haven't played Yume Nikki Gensou, but I've heard it's very good. But since I haven't played it, I don't have too much information on it, so...

3.

MOTHER 3

For us Americans, it's freeware, so it counts. Released in Japan in 2006, Mother 3 is an eerie RPG that splits itself between insane and yet humorous American cultural knockoffs and excessively sad moments. I'm not exactly sure when WE got it. We've always been screwed over in Earthbound. Mother is the Japanese name for the series. Mother was Japan-only, even though we had ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING prepared for an American release, down to it being packaged and ready for shipping. So we got it as freeware under the name Earthbound Zero. Mother 2, well, we actually GOT as Earthbound. I dunno if there was any intention to ship Mother 3, but it wasn't shipped, nor renamed when we got it as freeware.

2.

THE EMBODIMENT OF SCARLET DEVIL

Ah yes, Touhou...I've likely already said why I enjoy it so much. But it's a mix between Japanese character art and overhead shooters, with a little bit of mythology and superstitions added in. I freaking LOVE all of those. I even enjoy looking up superstitions (and laughing at the epic fail when people take them too seriously.) This is my one Touhou mainstream pick. But it isn't at the number one spot.

1.

IJI

YEAH, Iji! A Super Metroid-like game released in 2008, Iji is a pretty intense sidescroller. Shoot your ray gun at foes, and power yourself up! Blowing up alien motherships...destroying wreckage...so satisfying! But I shouldn't just explain it. Go download the game and see for yourself!

Boozooka said:

It was because by the time they had it ready to ship the NES was pretty much completely dead.

He who places Touhou on any "greatest games" list is an absolute disgrace.

Also, I used to think Iji was kind of cool until I realized the upgrade system and level design were just kind of shit.

Stop being better than me, Shyguy; it makes me feel bad.
