I just beat __

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.

So, pretty much the whole freaking game I ran around collecting Cobolt star shards that Professor E Gadd told me to get and in the end, those shards just ended up being the Elder Shroob Princess. What the hell? Like in retrospect, practically the entire game was just a GIANT WASTE to completely SCREW ME OVER.
What terrible plot.

Several hours ago, but 7 Days A Skeptic

EDIT: Trilby's Notes

2nd edit: 6 Days A Sacrifice, and by extension, the Chzo Mythos.

Pokemon Puzzle Challenge

On Intense difficulty. I have a cramp in my left hand like you wouldn't believe.

It was last night and I can't remember fully, it was either Peach or Kirby.

I didn't choose the Master Core path that time though, I usually don't try the Core path and then try it afterwards.

It's probably best to try fighting Master Core as much as possible if you have plans for 8.0 and higher so you have more experience with it, but do what you like.

When I say "I do it afterwards" I literally mean I do it after I beat plain old Master Hand. The first time I do it is a test to see if I can beat the CPU's to get there.

AKA yeah, afterwards I go and attempt to beat it like 5 times.

I 100%ed Psychonauts.

Fun game. Now all I have to do is travel back into the past to buy it during its original run.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

good game, twists at the end were pretty neat and I enjoyed it way more than ALTTP.

I can give Ravio way more respect as Lorule Link than as a freak in a rabbit mask.

You know his rabbit costume is based on A Link to the Past, right?

Freespace 2. omg, this game.

Freespace 2 is handily the best combat flight game I've ever played and has quickly earned a spot in my favourite games of all time list. Everything comes together perfectly; the flight model, the soundtrack, the the theatrics. etc. The mission design is brilliant; nearly every mission has you escorting some big fish but it avoid the usual follies of escort missions by giving the escortee some manners to defend themselves and by creating a cool dynamic: By defending the capital ships from enemy fighters, they in turn defend you from enemy capital ships and their anti-fighter beams. It's a fun back-scratching dynamic.

The game's 15 or so playable ship roster may seem paltry in comparison to some modern flight games, but it's a definite case of quality vs quantity. All fighter have precise tactical roles with the specs to match, and how you aproach a mission as a strike bomber is going to be very different that when playing as an interceptor. This is in star contrast to console flight games like Ace Combat where the plane are essentially a succession of "bigger sticks" and there's no reason to pick an early game craft in the late game except for bragging rights. I'm not necessarily saying one approach is "better" than the other, but it's food for thoughts.

Avengers Battle for Earth.
How did you beat Queen Veranke and Super Skrull? I have the Kinect version and they're impossible to beat. As soon as I do even a little bit of damage they switch and heal.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Well though I saw the twist with the inspector coming I didn't expect the other revelations.
