Yeah I gotta be honest Javelin. Palpatine/Sonic is a hard one for me too. Should be a good match.

I also imagine Han Solo Vs. Dr. Wily might be interesting.

yes, per Javelin. even though they can come in handy, I just find them annoying. but you can do what you want.

I also like all but six of these series (five of which i never played/watched, the other I've tried but didn't really care for) so that's why there's a lot of tough choices for me this round.

Anyway guys I'd like to hear when you guys are likely going to send in your 5 characters for the BYE. I know Smasher already said he'd send them in this weekend.

Not trying to rush you guys of course. As you know you have all of the entire first round to send in your 5 characters to me. I'd just like to know where everybody stands and if they're still thinking of what 5 they'd like to give points for the BYE.

I think I'll at least wait until after the first matchup. Then I'll probably deciede.

Yeah uh, if you saw my post in the Coming Back / Away thread. There might be a chance of a bumpy road for the start of this game.

I don't know if it will really be this much trouble. But would anyone like to volunteer to help sort of police the game? Like kinda be a "moderator" by checking for anything that is against the rules or even setting up the Matchups if I can't? It will probably be more of the Policing things. I think I can set it up so I can still set up the matchups at midnight everyday. But at least for a little while I might not be able to watch the whole matchups unfold. Been having issues with a household Internet hub.

I'm excited to start up the game. The first matchup begins at Midnight.

Also regarding BYEs again. If the situation arises that there's a tie between any characters for the BYE the Poll will be used to decide it. I however doubt there will be a tie due to the utmost secrecy of the BYE system. I think that most likely one character is going to sneak the Top spot simply because some people even if they pick similar characters they might be ranked differently. Right now I already have 3 characters tied for the lead for the BYE. But that's because I got 3 messages with 5 different characters in each one. So far no one has chosen a character that another person suggested. I know that will change soon enough though.

Alright, Forum's Choice II has now begun. For about 3 weeks. 120 characters from 24 different series that you guys chose will will be going head-to-head to decide what are the most popular series and characters are on the forum of the characters in the game. Things have been made much more interesting since the first game.

Many rules stay the same though. Absolutely no insulting any characters. Criticisms like overrated or " I don't really like this character" are ok. It's anything close to calling a character annoying or worse that WILL get your vote revoked. Also have the same respect if not more for other voters. In addition if your vote is revoked 3 times you will be banned from voting on any other matchups for the entirety of the game.

Also the statistics and awards from the last game regarding winning votes, First votes, last votes, etc. also return and this time they're less of a secret then they were in the first game. The awards are just meaningless fun and doesn't have to effect how you vote although I imagine some of you will try.

Once again there are Vote Changes but just like the last game you have a limit of 3 per round. If you change your vote on more then one matchup in the same day that will count as more then one vote change and if you use up all 3 you can't change your vote again until the next round.

I hope you all enjoy what is sure to be a fun game. Let's hope we keep it civilised just like the last game for the most part. Thank you and start voting!

For our first matches we have Magus of Chrono Trigger against Captain Kirk of Star Trek. Secondly we have Phoenix Wright the famous lawyer from the Ace Attorney series against who is one of the few characters returning from the last game: Kirby. Lastly we have Ripto of Spyro against Rarity of Friendship is Magic
