Fire Emblem: Awakening

Which chapter is that again?

And if my signature is any indication, I think Tharja is a good unit to have around, she did especially well as a Dark Knight, but she loses her use of dark magic.

Is Tharja better than Ricken would you say?

And it's the chapter where it's in the desert titled "Mad King Gangrel". The one where Olivia comes.

Can't say, Ricken never had a consistent spot on my team.

Also I'm afraid I don't really have any advice for that chapter.

I'M SO HELPFUL TODAY

Am I the only one who dislikes the general/knight's armor design?

I think it looks kinda weird too. Especially with the fact that the character models have teeny tiny feet.

And as for Mad King Gangrel, lame as it sounds, I just sent out my A-ranked avatar/Frederick and let them take care of most of it.

Kind of makes male knights look out of shape, tbh, females look okay, I suppose, but I would've liked it if it was more similar to Sacred Stone's design.

Chrom married Sully. Which is too bad since I wanted a different combo for both of them, but I think I can make it work.

Yeah I was kinda bummed out that Chrom automatically marries someone if you don't marry him off to someone else beforehand. But hey, after that chapter, stuff starts getting crazy, plot-wise. So there's something to look forward to.

Beat the game, definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite 3DS game.

Hmm... Guess I need to play through the game again.

dat final chapter music

It needs to be in the next Smash Bros. game.

I'd be severly disappointed if fire emblem awakening didn't invade smash bros

man

i just

i just don't know how to put my thoughts into words hnngh

I only just finished Chapter 9 but I have to say I'm rather disappointed in Awakening with the aspect that it feels like they hardly put any emotion into the chapters... none of the chapters are memorable so far (unlike Radiant Dawn), and it's also like "here's a tiny little bit of plot if any, then bam have a chapter/battle!"

Though N says it gets better starting with arc 2 (starting at Chapter 10 or 11, he doesn't remember). Is this true?

To me, yes. The first arc is just about the war between Ylisse and Plegia. Kinda eh, but it has a nice conclusion. Ch. 10 & 11 are one of my favorite parts of the game.

i'm about to recruit kjelle and her father, virion, is a level 15 sniper

i already know i'm going to give her aegis from sully, but what should i give her from virion

bowfaire seems useless since i'm keeping her as a knight, but aegis and pavise are both skill-stat activated so is it worth it to pass down skill +2 instead of prescience or hit rate +20? like, would that skill affect activation rate at all

So how long do you guys wait before using a second/master seal?
20. Its always better to wait until they are maxed so you can get the most exp in your unit. Sometimes I make some exceptions, though, but usually not.

Yeah, same here. Most special cases usually involve cleric or dancer classes, those classes I try to promote as quick as possible.

Gaaaaaaaw dammit, I forgot to unlock Astra for Olivia before playing chapter 13, now all Lucina has is vantage :(

It's totally worth it to download that Golden Pack DLC. Hell, from the Golden Gaffe alone you get, like, 80,000 Gold. It's nuts.

I have about $3.07 to spend from a leftover pre-paid card... what $2.50 DLC would be the best to buy? Preferably either between The Golden Gaffe or EXPonential Growth... I'm leaning towards Golden Gaffe

Golden Gaffe. EXPonential Growth will almost always last no more than 4 turns so you don't get as much exp as you're led to believe you would. Then again, I could just be doing something completely wrong.
