Well, Hitmonlee and Jynx are human-like pokemon, so I don't find it weird.

But Charizard can breed with a Magikarp? I find that weird.

Charizard is a dragon while Magikarp is a fish.

Neither is Gyrados but w/e.
 
The Dragon egg group isn't entirely limited to actual dragons, but it also includes various lizards, serpents, and anything that looks reptilian. And since Magikarp evolves into Gyarados, being able to breed with Charizard is quite valid.

Of course, one oddity is that Zangoose and Seviper can breed with each other, considering that they are eternal enemies.
 
Too bad charizard needs to be an actual dragon fire type cause thats way better than flying fire.

Yeah it is pretty odd that the Ralts family is only in the Amorphous egg group, as I would think that that family would also be part of the Fairy egg group; it would be pretty amusing if a Pikachu could actually breed with a Kirlia. At least Castform covers that kind of egg group combination.

yes because i was trolling around by using my action replay to have infinite hp and i started over (do this for fun, but i dont save it) and Roark's cranidos used struggle
 
Also, if you face a wild Smeargle, and its Sketch fails, it'll then use Struggle until it's KO'd.
