Surprising Stuff in Pokemon

There's a Banette in the Mimic Girls house in SoulSilver. So I wonder if it gave up looking for its owner.

All trainers in Battle Subway seem to have their pokémon with a IV of 31 for every stat, not fair for the impossibility to reach it without cheating.

Yeah you pretty much have to resort to using PokeGen to have perfect IV Pokemon. However, you need to make the Pokemon look legal, or else you risk getting banned from Wi-Fi; this means no illegal and/or unobtainable abilities (for some examples, no Wonder Guard Sableyes and Spiritombs, and no Contrary Serperiors), no illegal movesets, no illogical memo information (for example, Kyurem can't be caught anywhere, except at the Giant Chasm), no EV totals that are greater than 510, and don't spam the shiny Pokemon. Also, the Pokemon need to use valid PIDs, or else they can't be considered legal.

I understand about contrary serperior.

Maybe Gym Leaders have infinite PP or not?
That can happen, especially after age 50, because the bladder starts to weaken.

On a more serious note, why can't the Scraggy family learn Acid Spray?

Because they're not Poison Types.

Also:

Wooper can learn Ice punch and it doesn't have arms. I know Quagsire has arms, but why not make Quagsire learn it instead of Wooper?

Also, I find it pretty weird for Poliwag to learn DoubleSlap, it could use it's tail but that would be Tail Whip instead.

Ice Punch probably has to be bred in, so Wooper would have to learn it for Quagsire to obtain it.

Yeah, but Wooper doesn't have a hand to punch with. So, Wooper uses his tail? Oh wait, that would be Tail Whip.

No, that is one of the many descendants of the first Banette who was a doll, meaning that it bred with some other ghost pokemon and it had to be "female", so that could be one of the first banette's great (more greats) grandchildren

It's almost as awkward as seeing Gastly use the elemental punches. Maybe it uses its tongue to punch somebody.

well it is a ghost so its tongue probably just turns into a fist.

What gender is Jasmine's Amoharos? Regardless of your own pokemon's gender, it falls in love with her Amoharos.

Who the fuck is Amoharos?

Anyways, I guess her Ampharos is secretly a Ditto.

I tried with a female Togetic, it didn't work, so my guess, female.

In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Trainers' walking Pokémon often react to Amphy's condition. While all Pokémon may greet Amphy or want to play with Amphy, any other Ampharos brought to the Lighthouse will "sparkle in concert" with it. Male Ampharos may occasionally act interested in Amphy.

Doesn't it seem ironic that one of Escavalier's Pokedex entries mention it being fast, and yet it's actually one of the slowest Pokemon in the game.

They fly around at high speed, striking with their pointed spears. Even when in trouble, they face opponents bravely.

Yeah I just noticed, incredibly hilarious.

You're right, that is weird...

It's somewhat the same with Garchomp.

No; Garchomp has quite good speed.

It's somewhat fast, but it isn't the fastest Pokemon in the game, and the Pokedex says that it flies at Mach speeds.

It can't even USE Fly!

Garchomp has more than decent speed and can really outrun a lot of threats, plus the dude is just a terrifying poke all around.

But flying at mach speeds is probably not relating to actual flying.

Certain speed-related Pokedex entries are pretty messed up. Archeops has a higher speed stat than Dodrio, and yet one of Dodrio's entries state that it runs faster than Archeops. Of course, two or Archeops's entries contradict each other, as another one states that it moves as fast as an automobile.

When a Pokemon uses Milk Drink, where does the bottle come from?

Also, in battle, Milk Drink restores the user's HP, but outside of battle, the user loses HP to replenish another Pokemon health.
