Really? Could I see a picture of both cards?Pokémon Trainer Red said:kadabra lawsuit is lame
i have an abra card with ultra evolution which is from the original TCG series 1998 or something and i have a kadabra card from the DP card series

Did that guy even have proof that he has "psychic abilities"?

I wonder why nintendo isn't making kadabra cards
magicDon Pianta said:Okay, so in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, you help Wally catch a Ralts, but it only knows Growl. When you meet Wally in Mauville City, Ralts has grown to level 16. How did Wally level up Ralts if it had no offensive moves and no other Pokemon yet to use the switching out strategy?

NO NO NO NO guys! You got it all wrong, first of all nobody won. The lawsuit was made in 2000 but the case has yet to be announced so for now Nintendo stopped printing Kadabra cards and like some of you users say removed him from the show. Uri Geller does kinda looks like Kadabra at an angle. His specialty as a magician is spoon bending, he made the spoon bending trick popular in pop culture.FireKirby said:The guy didn't even win the court.Don Pianta said:Man, it sickens me how greedy some people can be.

oh please not this againV.V. said:What really got him offended is the fact that he is Jewish and descendant of holocaust survivors and Kadabra have the SS symbol on its belly.
What the hell are you talking about?Jack Noir said:oh please not this againV.V. said:What really got him offended is the fact that he is Jewish and descendant of holocaust survivors and Kadabra have the SS symbol on its belly.
did you know that the swastika used to be a buddhist (or was it hindu? idk) symbol for peace? yeah.
Just because the Nazis corrupted certain symbols doesn't mean we can't use them. Or rather, we shouldn't. I mean, I can see avoiding the swastika but three waves?
Why should that even matter? Just because he may not speak Japanese it's okay to use his name without consent?Blue Paratroopa said:To be fair, they didn't really base Kadabra's English name on him
Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to say.Blue Paratroopa said:Dr. Javelin meant that a drawing of lines doesn't automatically mean it's associated with the Nazis
Javelin, you can drop the act. I am aware that you misread the post and surmise I was alluding to the swastika, and not the Waffen-SS symbol. If not, then fair, consign to oblivion.Jack Noir said:Yeah, that's exactly what I'm trying to say.Blue Paratroopa said:Dr. Javelin meant that a drawing of lines doesn't automatically mean it's associated with the Nazis
*face-palm*Magikrazy said:Yeah, I see the 3 waves on an ESP testing card. Does that mean all psychics are Nazis?
No, I didn't misread it at all. Kadabra has three waves on his belly, just like the ESP card. If the Nazis had used one wave instead of two, would that make Kadabra triply evil? What makes you assume I misread your post? I was using the swastika as an example.V.V. said:Javelin, you can drop the act. That's out point exactly: there's a big difference between them. And Kadabra clearly has three waves, not two - meaning it's just a smaller ESP symbol.V.V. said:*face-palm*Magikrazy said:Yeah, I see the 3 waves on an ESP testing card. Does that mean all psychics are Nazis?
Are you serious? >_>
There's a big difference between:
^This and this V
Uh no. I'm pretty sure it does matter. And don't altercate on that Kadabra's have three S's and the Waffen is two, that doesn't really matter because it is still the same symbol and meaning.
What? When did I ever say that Kadabra is evil. Oh and you did a swell job telling us that you were using the swastika as an example.Jack Noir said:No, I didn't misread it at all. Okay now you're just blowing this out of proportion, you are getting off-topic. I do notice that you are veering and avoiding off some facets of my claim which says something about your pride, which suggest that you do agree with some parts of my claim. Unless you failed basic elementary art class, than you know there is a big difference between wavy and jagged lines so I'm not sure how you don't see the difference between the two images. I call for logical fallacy. That's out point exactly: there's a big difference between them. Would you rather there be a super tall Kadabra with a huge belly just so it will be long as well?
Circular reasoning. ^ Read above detail.Uh no. I'm pretty sure it does matter. And don't altercate on that Kadabra's have three S's and the Waffen is two, that doesn't really matter because it is still the same symbol and meaning.
One wave is a lightning bolt. Two is SS. Three is ESP.
Pretty good distinction there.
Yep throwing around random terms and hoping we don't know what they meanV.V. said:Circular reasoning. ^ Read above detail.Uh no. yeah you know what i already gave my stance that it's clearly not supposed to be the ss symbol and you didn't really listen to that soV.V. said:Now that settles it.
