Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

Maybe Antasma could've called a truce with the Mario Bros. and Dreambert to retaliate against Bowser's double crossing and once Bowser's dealt with, he'll call off the truce and threaten to resume his conquest over Pi'Illo Kingdom later and disappear until a future Mario and Luigi installment.
 
Why wouldn't he just attack then and there while the Bros. are weak from Bowser?

Saying he'll resume his take over and leaving is just warning the Pi'Illos so they can prepare.

Besides, it's better to let Antasma be and have the next game introduce a new villain.
 
OK, I see your point about warning the Pi'illos, maybe he could simply retreat into the Dream World and mention resuming his conquest plans but only the viewers can see it.
 
I think its better he just stay popped.

A new more interesting antagonist would be better.

I never bothered with it personally. Just focused on getting to the end of levels.


I prefer not to ride on yoshi when given the option.
 
Yeah, I prefer going with the pink one if I had to ride a Yoshi at gunpoint.
 
I don't have anything against yoshi, I just felt that other than the yoshi's island series and I guess galaxy 2 he was too cumbersome for my tastes.
 
I like Yoshi's Story more than Yoshi's Island.
 
Besides that it's Yoshi, I think I like most other platformers I've played more than Yoshi's Island.
 
there should totally be a Bowser platformer

I prefer SMB1 to SMB3

Unless you're fighting Ganondorf there.
 
I don't think there has ever been a yoshi stage I liked.

The Super Mario World one is amazing. The Yarn Yoshi stage thing is also good.

It's much more fun in 8-player Smash.
 
I liked 75mm, especially as a fan of the arcade game.
 
75m is better with 8 Player Smash and the soft platform
 
Big stages are great for 8 player smash.
