Although, I think the maul is cooler than the homewrecker.

Groden said:Melee for Pyro is quite useless unless you are using combos. Melees are more of utilities than a legitimate weapon, since if you're in melee range, you may as well be using a flamethrower. If you're out of ammo, just flee for more ammo. You should be getting enough kills to keep your ammo filled, anyway.FireEevee said:I rarely melee with the pyro.
Are there any good tips when I am forced to melee with him until I get ammo again.
However, certain weapons do have their uses. Use the Axtinguisher or Powerjack for burning then hitting with a melee to finish them. The Third Degree is good if you can ambush a Pocket and Medic, and the Backscratcher is good for roaming because of the passive bonus and the additional +25% damage for ambushing. The Homewrecker and Neon Annihilator are great choices if you are defending with an Engineer, because you can remove sappers. The Volcano Fragment is useless except in Medieval mode, and there is no reason to use the default Axe.

ctf_turbine_pro solves this problem somewhat, but the official maps just get repetitive and stalemate-ish after a while
Some parts of the map are changed so it is more acceptable for competitive play. Original, Pro.Full Sentence Names Would Be A Horrible Fad said:Christian Brutal Sniper said:CTF needs better maps that allows less turtling

How is the "_pro" version different from the original?
There are more routes and flanks that discourage effective turtling, and other changes that aren't too visible like additional health kits or ammo boxes.Full Sentence Names Would Be A Horrible Fad said:I'm not really seeing much of a difference in the maps, other than appearance.
You do not start with Steam money, otherwise people would just make new accounts non-stop for free things and just trade the stuff back to their account.Snifit on Stilts said:I'm finally getting TF2!
P.S. Do you start with any steam money?

The machina is not bad since it's shots can penetrate enemies but leaves a trace.Snifit on Stilts said:Also, is this a good sniper set?

Machina is bad with this set because you have no secondary and you cannot no-scope with it. The Huntsman (bow) goes great because it allows you to use the Jarate to it's full extent up close, though is not required. The Bazaar Bargain is a downgrade unless you're a demigod Sniper, and the Heatman's Heatmaker takes some skill but is otherwise pretty good.FireEevee said:The machina is not bad since it's shots can penetrate enemies but leaves a trace.Snifit on Stilts said:Also, is this a good sniper set?

the bow (forgot's it's name) is good if you're that much of a close up and mobile sniper.
and the bazaar bargains relies on consecutive headshots or some shit like that,

When someone buys a Get Premium item and trades it to someone else, their account becomes premium.
