Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

you say it makes it easier, but you play through the game by using revives fifty thousand times

i don't think that makes you a good judge of difficulty
I only use revives at the elite four and even then I only use them out of battle

It removes both strategy and difficulty from an already easy game so yeah I hate the fuck out of it (also I can't sell them any more to buy revives which is bullshit)

Difficulty? Battling tons of trainers over and over again to buy a single move wasn't difficult, it was annoying. And why would you sell TMs? Sell something else, I don't know what. Or better, train your Pokémon better and don't let them faint.

Because most tm's are shit like tm's that have moves like protect

Protect is far from useless, since it renders two-turn attacks useless, and is capable of shutting down Slaking as well. It also serves a purpose in a double battle or triple battle, by enabling the Pokemon to completely avoid multi-target attacks.

Likewise, Pokemon with the Pressure ability can take advantage of Protect as well, as it'll cause opponents to waste "2" PPs, instead of only one.

............ I seriously doubt you know how to play Pokémon well. Protect is one of the best moves out there if you know how to use it well. I do agree that there are many useless moves as TMs, but most of them aren't. Psychic, for example. It's easily one of the best offensive moves and you could only get ONE in FireRed/LeafGreen. You couldn't even buy it again after you used it. Now THAT was bullshit.

You think that's bad, Earthquake was in that exact same dilemma too.

Or maybe Shoey is one of those players who prefers offensive to defensive moves. I'm the same way. I realize that moves like Protect have certain advantages, but I never use them, even if I have Pokémon that know such moves.

Yes, it received that treatment in FireRed/LeafGreen, but then you could buy it again in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum for a whopping 80 Battle Points, which were extremely annoying to get.

Have fun and let me know when you've beaten the Elite Four and whatnot so I can beat you without feeling too terrible about it.

No, I can't imagine that.

Yeah, I only got it because I found out Gallade, and was convinced that I had to get it, even if it could be childish. I was like "I have to get a Gallade."

I was mostly afraid of getting it because I thought that it would be a childish game like the anime and I didn't want to be made fun of for playing it.

Shows you how much I care about that now. :P

I can't imagine anyone that starts playing Pokemon for the first time past Emerald. I just can't imagine the reaction.
I don't know my reaction at all really. More confused than anything lol.

And I play Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid, not Pokemon.

My first Yu-Gi-Oh game was Dark Duel Stories. I never really played the actual card game, though I had a fair number of cards.
