Another steel gym leader? Yeah! I don't believe there's been a steel type since Jhoto. Maybe I'm thinking of a different region. But I love steel types, because 1. Steely types look cool and 2. they are easy to beat, because I always have a powerful fire type.

During the VGC Opening Ceremony, Junichi Masuda revealed a new Mega Pokémon, Mega Kangaskhan which has the baby Kangaskhan grow and come out of battle. It has the ability Parental Bond that allows its attacks to hit twice in one turn. We'll have pictures and details as soon as possible.

I warmed up to the idea ever since Mawile got an evolution. I love that Pokemon, but damn did it really need an evolution.
 
This is pretty much their way of giving a new evolution or new form to old pokemon.

Mega Kangaskhan is perfect. Honestly, all of them so far have been good.

This is gonna be fun.
 
some of those sound unbelievably minor lmao

but yes this game is introducing quite a bit of new stuff which is nice.
 
From the Pokemon Game Show:

- Mega Evolutions are just a touch of a button on the touch screen.
- Run is the default speed at which you move now, hold B to walk
- Every Pokemon now has actually voiced cries, Pikachu has his/her anime cry.
- You can now encounter Pokemon outside tall grass, you have to walk up to them to initiate a battle.
- No trumpets in music.

Unrelated, but they announced something else at the game show. There's an anime following the characters Red and Green coming out.
