Praise the heavens.
Unrelated, but they announced something else at the game show. There's an anime following the characters Red and Green coming out.
yeah, it follows the events of the first game, so I would expect it to be real good, considering they can make a real tight plot from the source like Pokemon Special did.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed in Game Freak and Nintendo right now.
Why? You scared of a couple Mega Evolutions?
No, but the fact that a LEGENDARY POKEMON is evolving is screwed.

Also, I can understand why there's the Fairy-type, but a Light-type is the perfect alternative. I mean, really, making a deer a Fairy-type? Even if it is the Life Pokemon....
I think the Fairy-type is Game Freak's excuse for having a Cotton Candy Pokemon.

In addition, I honestly look forward to flat sprites. It just doesn't seem right to have a completely 3D Pokemon game.

Because the old games are good, when everything was somewhat simple.

so a game gets more additions so it is bad

i see
Look, you have your opinions, I have mine. Kapeesh?

Don't you get tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again? This is a big step forward, and it's something pokemon has needed for a long time. Might I add that this game seems much more expansive than any previous Pokemon game.

I'm just mad they've made a stage two Pokemon evolve again and then make a Legendary Pokemon evolve. I mean, really? And then they turn Mawile, Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir into Fairy-types. They were perfectly fine before.

i just know your opinion is wrong
I get a feeling a fight's gonna break through.

its not really evolution lol

its more of a stat switcher and different appearance look

Jigglypuff was not fine before. Pure normal is pretty bad.
I think it was fine. Absolutely fine. And that's like saying they should make Bidoof and Rattatta and Raticate and Patrat all more then just Normal-types.

Though I must admit, Lucario didn't need an attack boost.
True that.

no it wasnt

these pokemon SUCK ASS, well in the usefulness anyway.

and normal is a really lame typing lol not super effective against anything and only has two things to defensive measure.

Even snorlax, the almighty special tank can gets its ass kicked by special fighting moves now, and several normal types were just downright lacking and just fell of the table compared to various other more powerful pokemon.

The megalutions are nothing more than to make pokemon stronger, which is good for those people that want to use pokemon they love without having to deal with the absolute shit stats that those pokemon look.

plus it also unfolds all kinds of new looking pokemon to the table, so quite frankly, the benefits strongly outweigh the cons.

Bidoof does become a Normal-Water type upon evolution, so....

Also, no offense, but Jigglypuff sucks either way. I don't think adding the Fairy type is going to automatically make it better anyways, although it'll probably have a better chance against some dragons, but not by much.

Gosh, Zae, Roserade, both just shush. You're both being pretty immature at the moment.

I think that we shouldn't judge the game until it comes out. They are adding a lot of new stuff, which is good and bad at the same time, much like how everything has their pros and cons. Pokemon has been very static for awhile in terms of gameplay, which has kind of made a safe path that we expect, and though they try to spice it up a bit by adding doubles and triples in Gen III and V (respectively), it is about time Pokemon had a few more things. Will it make things more complicated? Yes, which might not be all that swell to get used to, but will it make it more interesting? Most likely.
