Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

The item Exp. Share will revert to Exp. All as in Generation I, where when one Pokémon holding this item participates in battle, all other Pokémon in the team receive experience as well. Unlike in Generation I, the experience is not split but rather received by all Pokémon. This means that the participating Pokémon receives 100% experience, while non-participating Pokémon gain 50% experience.

I love you, Game Freak.
I love you more Game Freak.

You know, it seems quite funny how something as cute as an Inkay can evolve into something as malevolent as a Malamar.

Malamar = Malevolent

I know.

I was thinking about getting Inkay and everything because of the cool design as well as the excellent type combo, but I really do not the looks of Malamar.

What I'm hoping is that there'll be some sort of branched evolution or something like that, where one of them evolves into Malamar and the other evolves into one that is standing upright.

A third evolution? The only possible variations I can think of is adding another sword, or maybe add a shield. Or maybe just a size change.

That would be pretty neat. I already planned on having a Honedge on my team so this is good news for me.

That's why it can only evolved while the 3DS is flipped, because it flips your whole perspective on him.

I hate the fact that you have to trade Pokemon to get a legendary one: I'm still waiting for a guy with a Regice, so that I can get my Regigigas, in Black 2.

this is looking pretty good so far, and I hope the good stuff continues

I want to see another PMD game, better than the previous one, one that's reminiscent of the first 3 games

I get a feeling it's the last evolution. It just looks like it.

Sure, adding another sword isn't exactly original, but they didn't exactly have many options...

I don't get it. If the whole point of Mega Evolutions is to balance the game to give not-so-good Pokémon a chance against legendaries, WHY THE *bleep* DO THEY GIVE MEGA-EVOLUTION TO ALREADY EXCELLENT POKÉMON? I mean, do Lucario, Blaziken, Garchomp and freaking MEWTWO really need a Mega Evolution? What about Dunsparce, Arbok, Farfetch'd, Stantler, Butterfree, Mightyena, Vespiquen, Basculin and many others?! In fact, why not just give those Pokémon a normal, standard evolution (with the exception of Butterfree, of course)?

[/rant]

I always assumed Mega Evolutions were a way for Gamefreak to continue their obsession with forme changes. They were like "So, why don't we give a whole bunch of pokemon new forms? I love making new forms! Let's just put them as a new evolution method. Genius!"

Also, most of the mega evolutions are from good pokemon in the first place (besides Mawile). And I think it just changes the way base stats are arranged, so it wouldn't exactly help Pokemon with a crappy BST.

You seem to forget that mega evolutions are also based on popularity.

Actually, you just need to receive the proper key from someone, and you can get a Regice without having to trade with anyone.

I know, but I know nobody with that specific key. Actually, what I want is it export them to X&Y.

Apparently Doublade can learn Sacred Sword.
what are signature moves
Well, Darkrai can learn Spacial Rend and Roar of Time, so it's not totally clear-cut.

Watch it not be able to learn Swords Dance. Because Pokémon is that nonsensical. Pff, Mightyena not getting Crunch... WTF...

who cares mightyena sucks anyway

Well, it can learn Crunch as a Poochyena, but that doesn't change the fact that Mightyena isn't very reliable without Sucker Punch, and even then, you're better off using Absol or Honchkrow instead.

... I'm not talking about the usefulness of the Pokémon, I'm talking about the Pokémon itself. It's based on a freaking hyena, and it's unable to use Crunch?

Again, it can get Crunch as a Poochyena, but you are right that it's odd that Mightyena no longer learns that move naturally. Heck, Mienshao loses access to Quick Guard after evolving from Mienfoo.
