Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

Fun fact guys: There's an option in the GTS to turn off 'special' Pokemon (ie, legendaries), and you can also filter your results by Pokemon you own.

I only found out about this the other day but it has been a God send.

Oh yeah, can somebody trade me Xerneas, I just need it for my Pokedex and you can have it straight back.

It was great
Now I am in the unknown dungeon, ready to waste 3 hours attempting to catch mewtwo

In the end I managed to get it in like 5 turns, which isn't bad considering how I spend an hour catching Ho- oh on soul silver.
I now don't know whether to switch Mewtwo into my main team in place of Lucario, I am very conflicted and have reasons for and against

For
Its friggin Mewtwo, nuff said
It has stats pretty similar to my Lucario, but much better attack and special attack (they are practically the same level too)
That high special attack stat is going to be fun to abuse...
I have other pokemon in my main team who know fighting and steel moves so it won't be a huge loss

Against
Three legendaries in my team might be overdoing it
I already have a physic type (Delphox)
It means having to grind mewtwo in super training for ages
They can both mega evolve

What do you guys reckon?
 
Mewtwo would be overkill with two other legendaries, especially in its Mega form considering it has the highest base stat total like that, even beating Arceus of all things by a fairly large margin. Even in its normal form, Mewtwo takes fourth in terms of base stat totals and ignoring those its vast movepool can be used to sleigh the everything.

In other news, I beat the Pokémon League with the following really under-levelled team and conditions:

Team
  • Blastoise, Level 56 (finished at Level 57)
  • Nidoking, Level 58 (finished at Level 59)
  • Meowstic, Level 56 (finished at Level 59)
  • Delphox/Mozilla, Level 57 (finished at Level 58)
  • Sylveon, Level 56 (finished at Level 57)
  • Roserade, Level 58 (finished at Level 59)

Conditions
  • No items in battle.
  • No Mega Evolution.
  • Must use same amount of Pokémon opponent uses. If that amount are defeated, reset.

For the record in case no one realized, Delphox's nickname "Mozilla" is actually a joke referencing the browser Mozilla Firefox since Delphox looks like a fox and is a fire-type.
 
Yes, yes there was, and I actually also owned a Ninetales called Mozilla in my Emerald I no longer have. It was mainly used in contests.
 
Well here's a painful reality check with Pokemon Bank's features. Apparently, no Pokemon can hold ANY items, which means that trying to use the Pokemon Bank to transfer mega stones to another game is out of the question.

If you want the unobtainable mega stones, you pretty much have to resort to trading.
 
And so, the turn of the year marks the start of Trainer Doomy's conquest of Unov- I mean Kalos. What stupidly-thought-out battles, new friends, new pokemon, trials and vague puzzles await him?

(got Y now. still need to wait to get Leek into Y but yeah we got that trade done for real; tfp and I; Minako 'n' Leek)

someone told me every major (kyogre groudon lugia ho-oh arceus dialga etc.) legendary was in each gen 6 game, plus the wandering legendary birds and (obviously) the new legendaries, I have yet to confirm this

Catching Zygarde and Mewtwo, and getting the Mega Stones. Other than that...nothing, really.
