Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

I did the Looker sidequests just now.
I still have to catch Zygal (sp?) and the three birds.
As for Iv's: according to the IV guy: 4/6 of my pokemon were rated 'superior' (Xerneas, Yvetal, Mewtwo and Blastoise) and the other two were rated 'above average' (Delphox and Aegislash)

That's pretty normal for Xerneas, Yveltal and Mewtwo because legendaries have at least 3 perfect IV in this game.

I have already seen Zapdos so I assume that means I have get Zapdos.

Because a lot of people love Articuno and almost nobody picked Chespin.
 
Articuno is one of my favourite Pokemon of all time. Zapdos was cool too. But now I'm stuck with stupid Moltres.
 
I don't particularly like any of the starters, so I'll choose my least favourite just to get articuno
 
Ironically, if you own the HeartGold or SoulSilver versions, you could catch the legendary birds there, and send them to your 5th generation titles. On the other hand, they're not guaranteed to have good IV values.

You get one legendary bird that roams Kalos after you beat the E4, depending on the starter you chose.

Chespin=Articuno
Fennekin=Zapdos
Froakie=Moltres

If you encounter it enough times (I think it was 10 or 12), it'll flee to the Sea Spirit's Den where you can finally catch it. That's the entire sidequest, and it's really not worth it (unless you like the legendary Birds or want those perfect IVs).

i only like it because nostalgia

back when i was a complete noob kid playing leafgreen i only had two pokemon: my blastoise, and articuno, who i caught with my master ball

i couldn't understand why i couldn't beat the elite four with these two obviously awesome pokemon
 
Articuno is cool (no pun intended). Zapdos, like Jolteon, looks way too spiky to be cool, and Moltres is just a chicken on fire. Articuno is the only one that doesn't go overboard on its typing. It could have easily been made out of icicles or something, but it wasn't.

I like moltres
I guess its because as a kid I liked moltres because it had pink flames on its wings and I used to be obsessed with all things pink and girly. On pearl I had this 'sacred' level 80 clefairy (I couldn't find a moon stone) which was my favorite pokemon- I did eventually evolve it though, when it was like level 87.

In some of the older games and art it does look sort of pinky
it did in mystery dungeons at least, which was where I got the idea from
 
To be honest it would seem more fitting IMO if you have to meet it nine times, then you find it the tenth time at the den.

In other news, I caught Mewtwo earlier and Zapdos (and its pre-battle animation) scared the hoopla out of me by suddenly appearing while I was surfing on Route 22.

By the way, does anyone have any active Pokérus I could have for my Eevee EV training?
