Thank you! I was counting on that. Yesterday I said "Mario Kart 8 looks good!" and my dad said
"Too bad it's on Wii U!"
"If only I had a Wii U"
"Does it play Wii games?"
"I'm not sure."
"Ask someone on Mario Boards then."
Strange thing coming from my dad, because he's the one who hates Nintendo.

Now time to practice power-sliding, shell-tossing, banana-laying and avoiding blue shells until May 30th.

Now that I think about it, It would be a good thing to have Customizable Controls.

How I would customize it:

A = Accelerate
B = Brake
R = Glider
ZR = Trick
Control Stick = Steer
L = Drift
ZL = Item

Basically, a Hydrid of Wii/3DS Controls.

ZR/R = Drift/Trick
ZL/L = Item
Analog/D-pad = Steer

Alternate controls (for Forza, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo players):
ZR = Accelerate
ZL = Brake/Reverse
B = Drift/Trick
A/L = Item
Analog/D-pad = Steer

alright so i haven't seen this discussed yet

this is potentially big news

"THERE'S A DEMO A-COMIN!

I was talking to one of the Nintendo reps at WonderCon and she told me there would be a playable demo released on E-Shop sometime before the release of the game (not sure exactly when) that would be larger than the 3-track demo shown on the show floor."

demos have always been free

why would someone ever feel the need to pay for/charge for a demo (unless it's like early beta access or somethin')
