Like physics apply here. You can drive in Grumble Volcano, inside a friggin volcano, and you don't suffer from radiation exposure or 3rd degree burns. Have you ever stood close to fire?

I'm pretty sure white chocolate can survive such heats.

Pretty sure Rainbow Road Wii U is the better example for this. Or any Rainbow Road set in space for that matter. There isn't an atmosphere blocking out gamma rays, x-rays, and UV rays.

Actually even rainbow road wouldn't since it seems close enough to be in the atmosphere
the oxygen levels and the temperature would be the bigger problem

Temperature? Eh, those guys would need cooling suits, you know that? There's nothing to transfer your heat to. Oxygen is a valid problem, but so is radiation, which ISN'T the more immediate one.

The best example to obviously harmful radiation exposure by far is this one:

And actually 5 mins underwater is not immediately lethal. Sure, not for everyday habbits suitable, but you get my drift.

the reason i hold it longer underwater is in swimming class they pushed me to do it since i couldn't get the rings at the bottom

I want GCN Rainbow Road too but I really can't see it happening unfortunately.

So here's my list:

Egg Cup
DS Figure 8 Circuit
GCN Mushroom City
Wii Wario's Gold Mine
SNES Vanilla Lake 1

Bell Cup
Wii Toad's Factory
GBA Ribbon Road
3DS Wuhu Loop
GCN Bowser's Castle

So here's my logic behind this:

No more than one DS or 3DS tracks because there are already 3 in the normal game.
No N64 tracks because there's already 4.
Nintendo wants to use GCN and Wii tracks.
2D games will get little representation.
Wuhu Loop fits perfectly seeing as there are already courses based off other franchises.
Wii had a 3D retro Bowser's Castle, makes sense for 8 to do the same.
DS Figure 8 Circuit because of the 8 motif, and the only other course available that isn't one of the main three staples (Mario Circuit, Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road) is a highway course.
