I'm old enough to drive, the only thing is I'm scared to death to. Anyway I played it yesterday, I guess that's enough.

Hey King Antasma, is Baby Mario or Baby Luigi playable or no?

Also, I'm a little unsure how well the controls will be for the game, and how I'm going to handle the 0-gravity stuff.

No, only the characters shown in the trailer are playable (12). Also, each character is set to a specific kart or bike but you can tell that they're just preset customization since a few bodies are the same but with different wheels. Donkey Kong is set with a Bike and Yoshi has a kart.

And since the game is still in development, the stat system is probably in its beta stages.

Got to play this today. I played what seems to be the Mario Circuit.

You can turn your Game Pad to use the kart. Also ZR is drift, ZL is use item. I believe A is accelerate.

I've wanted to play Mario Kart 8, but i was stuck with Super Mario 3D World. Still I love the Haunted House track. It was pretty dang awesome

I watched some Mario Kart 8. The people that used Mario were consistently in the first place. Anyway, Mario Kart 8 is looking very good! It looks better than the puke graphics of Mario Kart Wii. Graphics aside, the gameplay looks typical. I'm not sure if I like how the characters sort of spin when they bump into each other when they're using anti-gravity wheels.

Yeah, you're right. But they still returned that stupid Fire Flower. I wonder why the people keep on using all the fireballs like crazy. Still, I hated the Fire Flower from Mario Kart 7.

I dunno, since the Fire Flower is a pretty spammable item?

I think I know why the screen is vertically split in the demo.

I live in Venezuela, so trying the games was out of the question for me. Maybe Nintendo should release those demos on the Wii U Shop Channel (or whatever it's called).

I've tried it before, the driving instructor yelled at me too much. That signals that I'm terrible at it and would be dead by now if it weren't for him.
Anyway, I'd love it if they put the demos on the eShop. They likely won't though.
